And wjile I'm happy you feel that way, as a person born in 2002, we need a game to represent the 2003 TMNT! Maybe a fighting game that also has a story mode recalling the first 5 seasons, with the DLC picking up Seasons 6 and 7. Or maybe a game where it picks up where season 7 episode 14 left off and then some (Yes, there is episode 14, I looked it up).

I am excited on if they do karai as the shredder or add up on some open world I dw. I like the design but only a few shots and scenes where it look great would be amazing to complete the seasons of games and even add making some in finish episodes for the game too

For the TMNT '87 franchise, Karai only appeared in video games and usually tried to continue Shredder's legacy. If she's a playable character, I can imagine her trying to usurp control of the Foot Clan from Shredder by proving herself the superior fighter.

At the time of the '87 cartoon, Karai was only introduced at the tail end (she debuted in the comic in '93) and at that point she was against the Shredder, she was the leader of another branch of the foot in Japan and was sent in to clean up his mess in New York after he died. It wasn't until '03 that she became associated with Oroku Saki.

Edit: It’s ok, I figured it out now. I’m posting this here because there’s lots of replies and more chance of someone else knowing - and the devs responded. Anyway, I’m mopping up some achievements and only have two trophies left - Honourable Sensei (unlock all trophies) and No Need For Mutagen (all characters to level ten in story). I was trying to complete the challenge of taking no damage on level one and a trophy popped - I knew I hadn’t done anything to get a trophy because I’d already done all the random ones - the trophy was called either “Diego Blanco”, or “Diego Bianco”, it popped and disappeared so quickly that that’s all I could catch. It’s not on my trophy list and nowhere to be found. Does anyone know anything about this or experienced the same? I’m puzzled and have checked the internet and can’t find anything. I even recorded the gameplay where it popped but the PlayStation doesn’t capture the trophy animation when grabbing gameplay recording. The PlayStation does automatically take a screenshot when a trophy pops but it’s not there either. HELP. Edit: Oh dear me. I figured it out, I’m so stupid lol. It was a game invite that popped up, not a trophy. Wow. Sorry if anyone wasted their time reading this.

I know Karai Technically was in the 90s tournament fighter game, but I can't help but feel like this isn't really true to the 87 series. Lotus Blossom would have been a more accurate choice, although I still would have preferred Zack. I mean, Zack was literally made the honorary 5th turtle in the show.
