The base game was awesome enough and wasn’t that expensive to begin with so I don’t mind paying for the dlc, especially if it means supporting the devs for putting such care into the game.

I love and appreciate this game so much, not because it's just a good game, but also because pays respect to the source material, and shows just how much passion and artistry the developers have put into it, you can tell they put a lot of effort and care into something they enjoyed. I mean looked at the art work, it speaks volumes in quality department, the amount of references, these people knew what they were doing and did their research, and had fun doing so. Much respect.

Dotemu posted the stats on their Twitter. Karai Range2 Speed2 Power3 Usagi Range2 Speed3 Power2 Ever since Casey Jones, the new characters have Max Stats of 7 when everyone else only goes up to Max 6. Because of this, it changes the balance that the original roster had. An example are the power types Raphael & Splinter which are Power 3. Raphael had less range than Splinter but more speed. Splinter had the greater range. But throw in Karai as a Power Type with Max7 so now she's faster than Splinter and has more range than Raphael. Based on stats alone, Karai is the default choice for a Power character. The same goes for Usagi who has better stats than both Mikey & April & overshadows Leo. It'll depend in how they play in hand. I mean Casey Jones has better stats than Donnie but Casey's taunt is the slowest of the game.

@@alexfischer7876 Usagi has 3 speed star compared to Karai's 2 stars - but Karai is the one zipping around the screen with a much faster dash, and moves that are naturally more mobile than Usagi... I would judge the actual, complete moveset - both the universal ones, and the unique moves.

@@alexfischer7876 sure we can. there are plenty of nimble characters. take april and mikey for example. first their star rankings mean virtually nothing, and are kinda the opposite of their strengths. according to the star rankings, april has more range, but less power, and mikey has more power and less range, but the opposite is true, as all their normal attacks do the exact same damage, but april has more powerful supers, but mikey's attacks have some of the best range in the game, like the heavy swing having a generous hitbox all around him, maybe covering more of an area than donny even. meanwhile, april has the fastest, but shortest ranged jab in the game so far. april and mikey are very similar characters, with most of their normals have not only the same damage, but the same properties. but april is overall probably the best character in the game, and mikey is the absolute worst, simply because of the properties of some of his attacks and his overall kit. kurai already looks like she has the worst air super in the game, and usagi's looks much slower than everyone else's. and usagi basically has leo's standing super, which is possibly the worst standing super in the game, with mikey's as strong competition for that spot. everything comes down to frame data, damage values, attack properties and overall kit. usagi DOES look like he'll be the best aerial fighter assuming the sword is disjointed like weapons normally are and he seems to have an aerial combo. but april is very strong competition in that regard.

Just a heads-up for anyone playing the survival mode , none of the buffs you get carry over to the main story mode,that means the extra lives you gain and health points are only viable for survival mode,the only thing that carries over from survival mode are the extra colors you earn during that mode. Damn Karai's Normal Move Set looks like its the best in the game. Its sad that her Supers look really weak except for maybe her Flying Attack Super. I really wish she had a Normal Dive Super. DLC looks amazing though looking forward to it and can't wait to try both the new characters out and trying out the new mode!!!

So I didn't know that if you get killed and hang out if your boys survive and make it to the next crystal you resurrect with 33% percent health. It's a low amount of health but it is still pretty awesome because yo can recover. I wish that you could earn extra lives with points. It would make sushi actually make sense to get. Also 100 hit combo, 200 hit combo, and 300 hit combo should trigger something cool to motivate you to not get hit and make it to those really high combo counts. This DLC is super awesome but I think that it would make it way better and reward skilled players to continue through the combo and points system.
