Οκ, so here're my thoughts. They're bit mixed. First foremost, the scene where it shows Leonardo taking meds does... not give a positive message to the audience, as it's eventually passing the message that "the only coping mechanism in the darkest hours... meds" (And when abused or in some cases taken for many years could have unwanted results to someone's psyche) unless Leonardo suffers from a serious mental condition, like Schizophrenia. Leonardo was taught by master splinter not only in combat but also by finding inner tranqulity through healthy mental mechanisms. If that version of Leonardo would've been in this fan made film, he would've decorated his living room, removed the skeleton and practiced yoga/meditation or played a video game or something, maybe searching for any remaining survivors. I'm talking as someone who has average level depression, my doctors tried to drag me to meds, but i denied and started counceling instead with positive benefits coming gradually. Moving on, the blood seems fine, controlled. No gory cringy things, no sadistic tedancies from the hero. Many people who grew up with TMNT, today are bombarded with content like Game of Thrones, Saw and other movies which contain too much blood and too much (i)moral anarchy. I'm happy seeing that Leonardo, the hero I always knew, hasn't turned up into an honorless hero which came out from a bad quality Hollywood movie or trash tv series. The design of the character is good, very tmnt 2014 movie leaning, but slightly scary when he shows his grin. A brush of charm wouldn't harm. Overall, the atmosphere is aesthetic, sensed and remarkable, giving a feeling that you're there with Leonardo and fighting the enemies.

@@Urmapleleaf Thank you for your time. I’m very happy with such a review. It’s a very interesting analysis, and I’m glad that a TMNT fan is satisfied. It was important for me to show respect to both the fans and the creators. In the next episode, I plan to bring in a lot of positive energy. It’s a bit of a crazy idea, but I’m considering uploading Donatello's brain into the Ronin robot, which Donatello left as a contingency in case of his death. Something similar to what was shown in Chappie and a few other stories.

@@lukaszkmakANIMATOR Wow, that's cool! Im excited to see what you people have to offer! And yes, positive messages and balancing them with the dark atmosphere. Id like seeing Leonardo giving his inner battles through much healthy coping mechanisms in surviving this phase... something which could challenge the movie norms which the former are promoting meds as the "only solution". In any case, much appreciated for reading my comment and hopefully to have found it constructive 🙂

It's a shame they had to kill Mikey off in the end. He deserved better.
