Wow. Super late on responding to this comment. Not sure I ever saw this one. I just have a camera mounted on a microphone stand shooting roughly over my shoulder. It takes a bit getting used to but it works

Nice job there. I definitely would have got these figs if it was a box of four and not split over two boxes! What did you use to paint the base black? Just straight VMC Black? That is super matte!

Yeah they were a bit pricey but I just love TMNT too much to pass it up. Glad I got them 😁and yeah the base is just with VMC Black. It's pretty flat on its own but then it's also got a final coat of Testors Dullcote which is amazing for creating that matte finish. If you're in the states you can get it at Hobby Lobby and use a 40% off coupon.

Yours looks the best out of al the videos on youtube. i just bought the set and it will be the first set i paint. what did u use for the base coat? yours is silver when u started and when u buy them they are green.

Were the mold lines bad? Did you have to spend a lot of time to get rid of the mold lines on him or any of the other turtle figures?

The mold lines weren't too bad. They were pretty similar to other CMON minis (like blood rage or zombicide). Didn't take long to clean up

I have been having so much trouble highlighting up red. You add white to it, and then it just becomes pink, which is not at all what I am going for when painting red.

Honestly with red you pretty much have to highlight with another red.

@@BandaInku When you do the 50/50 mix of dullcote are you mixing in tamiya acrylic thinner? Would basic airbrush thinner work as well with dullcote?
