A little bit on the feet

The tentacle arms are a bit tricky, but what you need to do is to have the side where the ball joint is exposed be the outside of any curve. In your video, the ball joints were on the inside of the curve and will come apart very easily.

Think I like the look of the original Paeon via metallic. But the hands on this toon version are way better.

There are some bits of mistransformation, first you need to slide the wheels on the feet upwards. 2nd is you also need to slide the whole upper body forward on the waist slider so that the upper and lower body would align perfectly.

Good catch, Yes I accidently snipped the part of the video where I fixed the sliding upper body, but i covered the wheels later in the Review during articulation

I love Hoist and I really like this one. I actually prefer the silver legs and arms of the original over the pearl white but I like the hands on this version and the paint details if the stripe looks better for the alt mode in this version. All that said I am in no rush. I would like to see what FansToys has planned in the future. I understand the need for a heel spur but I wish the back of the foot looked a bit more like the animation version. I do like the review. I would love if they got rid of the long useless Doctor Oct legs and the tools that won't peg in anymore and the masks and device he comes with and then knock $29 bucks off the price. I can't believe how much more this version costs than the original. It went up $40! That paint job sure adds a ton.

@@TMReviews I also don't care for the extra head. I never like that version but I do love the gun metal grey one he comes with. I do like that they included it because heads mean a lot to fans and there are probably some fans that really like this one. That said if we could exclude everything but the ray gun hand option the box would be smaller and lighter. So shipping would be cheaper and a smaller box and padding also saves money. I bet the majority like 90% would go with this version to save $30. I am curious if FansToys has taken a good look at this figure and already has a design that will easily best this one or not. I do worry that FansToys will try to be too cartoon accurate and the bot will end up being quite goofy looking proportions wise. I prefer when these 3rd parties take some liberties to fix the goofier aspects of proportions that stem from the clunky looks of the original toy bots the cartoon was trying to resemble. I really love the alt mode on this X-Transbots attempt. It looks perfect and I prefer this more realistic take than the more toon alt modes we see with the Takara MP's of late.

Figures I think I likely won't ever flip back to vehicle mode: XTB Paean, XTB Boost... /edit: Oh god... I just remembered that the original Paean I have has those old XTB hands... One of his fingers popped off and I never could find it again so I just slapped his "rocket launcher" on the arm and left him like that. More authentic to the show too I suppose...

Just picked up the TFcon exclusive lift-ticket version, I actually quite like it, certainly more than Aegis (if I’m remembering correct, that is X-Transbots Trailbreaker)

a lot of people like paint on there MP figures but I hate paint because the clearances are very thin causing rubbing so after 1 or 2 transformations your paint starts chipping! Even if you go buy some paint its never the exact same color or applied the same so you spend $150-$160 just for it to start looking old and used..Plastic is much better

It’s more Pearl color. I have the original one in alt mode and this one in bot mode. It’s beautiful!

I think my trailblazer and hoist are zeta or xtransbots, I don't remember. My hoist, his legs extended. I do like the accessories with this one, but I'll pass. As always excellent review brotha 🙏
