This is a terrific figure. I've been looking for some other Third party Swoops. I have two different versions of Newage's Freyr, and their Toruk figure - and nothing else comes close to those, but this FT one is great.

Awesome review. I never got these as when I first heard and seen Fans Toys, I thought they were fake Transformers and I don't support fakes. By the time I found about about 3rd party Transformers, the prices were astronomical. The reason I first heard of them was because I love Slag and thought about buying it but never did. Now, I have the Gigapower set and plenty of other 3rd party Transformers.

I had also an issue with the ankles. I bought mine new, and I never played or even transformed him (from box to shelf) but the plastic degraded and broke just by staying there, static. I got the replacement from them but lost one of the smallest screws 😆 I also got a 3D design that can be printed for replacement, in case these new pieces are as bad as the originals. For now, I have mine on the stand so it doesn't put pressure on those ankles.

I bought the X version back in the day as it was stated the that the thigh hooks would be metal pieces installed, not plastic as the regular version had snapped pieces already and FT would've fixed that.

No, you have to take apart the entire lower leg to get the foot out unfortunately

Lol I had the x version of stomp and traded for a normal version of him so as to match the others. I found the chrome had a blue or icy hue compared to the standard. I find it odd they gave a spare clear wings when the original came with a silver painted version with the chrome.
