Thank you for a Great Comparison, having all 3... XTB hits the Sweet Spot, but this is between Apples and Oranges...FTs is all about Looks, Feel, Engineering and Presentation with the Focus on Motor Master. DX9 is all about Action, Playability, Simplicity and budget with the Focus on Menasour. FTs wins hands down in this Motor Master Comparison. But DX9 is and May be the Only Menasour that is Sturdy and purposely Engineered to be the best Menasour Possible. Ofcourse FTs Menasour will do well once it's here, 3 years from now and 5 years later to compete with DX9s . . .

First thanks for doing these reviews! They are both entertaining and instructive. While I usually agree with most of the scores in the reviews, I found the ties for transformation and sculpt a bit surprising. While the argument can be made that the lower legs of Fanstoys look somewhat better, I would say DX9 did significantly better on the side and back both in terms of cartoon accuracy and cleanliness (especially the former). In fact I would say the back of Road King looks nothing like the cartoon, due to huge backpack. So I don't understand how slightly better lower legs are somehow equal to a significantly worse side and back (this coming from a fan of Fanstoys). In my view DX9 should have won both transformation and sculpt, especially considering figures can win other categories like accesories and price with the slimmest of margins.

Fanstoys will forever be my choice for almost anything. It’s one of those things you have to hold and own to understand truly how good they are. I’m a display guy but I also love posing and I think Roadking checks all boxes for ME.

your fanaticism for fanstoys clouds your appreciation, the good thing about fanstoys, it is an imposing and robust figure, it has nothing else that is good, because the transformation is a headache, the chest looks like it has breasts, it has a horrible backpack , it doesn't have much mobility, I prefer a thousand times a capone, separated in two because it has better axabado and is more similar to cartoons. If you are a fanstoys lover like most KZbinrs you should not make comparisons because your judgment will be clouded.

Agreed...ft looks pretty and well built and nice materials.. I will probably never transform my road King unless I want to see what menasor will be like whenever FT releases deadend and the combiner parts

I think it's a tie, and for the price DX9 takes it. I don't own any of these guy's, but knowing what I know I would still get Fanstoys for bot mode and DX9 for combined mode. 👍🏼 Thanks for your review bro, I always love your style.

Both have their positives and compromises, it’s down to what you want in your stunticons. For me the alt mode on the DX9 Capone is a no no, I appreciate what they were trying to do but no. I’d rather it not combine and be accurate than be shoehorned into something that is way off.

Awesome review and really liked your final thoughts around the elephant in the room. For those that are looking to get dx9, wildrider is almost impossible to find. I think you can get a full set from eBay but for those looking for just wildrider...it's tough. The others you can find overseas. I have dx9 in combine mode and will go with FT for bot mode. Definitely people will save at least 400 bucks I think based on aftermarket prices and reissue prices that FT is going with recently.

I don’t get it overall DX9 it just more cartoon accurate. This is not subjective this is objective. Yes Fans toys has better details on the legs but overall look for cartoon accuracy DX9 10,000%

Thanks for the review. I just love FTs. They are by far the best transformers in my opinion. I will replace most of my collection that isn't FTs except transform element mirage. I don't see that much of a difference w the FTs one. Im still on the fence w Jazz. The make toys Jazz isn't bad at all. Most likely I'll buy the FTs jazz.

Excellent Review. I would reverse the Score for Engineering. Although you have to give Credit to FTs Roadking for the All in One Trailer, DX9 has an ALL in ONE Trailer'ed Menasor. That's Engineering and Very Impressive. FT edges out DX in Alt mode. Barely. I prefer DXs Cab Over, but FTs Trailer proportions are more in line.There are longer Trailers out there, 53 footers that would be closer in line to DXs in the Real World, but that's not 'Toon accurate. The one area not mentioned si the SIZE comparison to other MPs, especially Megatron and Prime. This is where a Point for DX would be given b/c he's accurate that way.

Thanx for the 📹, but to me it's not even close, Roadking imo is the best Mp of all time, his engineering is a BEAST str8 black magic, what they did with the trailer being incorporated into the transformation and having 1 of the best articulated figures and being sooo toon accurate is a feat 2 marvel and beyond impressive, this is what sets Fanstoys apart from everyone else and of course he's a DECEPTICON 😈💪...either way u can't go wrong they're both good figures, it's just Fanstoys all day 4me 😁👍
