I have videos like this. They make it sound like you’re doing it wrong if you do anything but what is said in the video. If you’re beginning in photograph your videography you will have learned the famous quote “The best camera is the one you have with you.” There is zero reason to make someone believe that their kit is worse or better because they don’t use these lenses. In fact, if I remember correctly, the entire broadcast for the iPhone 15 launch was shot solely on the iPhone and nothing else: plastic lenses inside of a cell phone look great when they’re being manned by someone who knows how to use the tool. You can make award winning content with a kit lens. That’s that.

@tommolewis3105 Жыл бұрын
Great for travel and cutting down on weight, but optically, it’s nowhere near as good as three separate lenses of the same focal length. You’ll have far more distortion on the wide end Much less sharpness A much narrower aperture which will render it useless in low light but also have next to no subject separation unless all the way in the telephoto end.

Plus, I have the Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 G2' for those longer/tighter shots! And a Sony 85mm f/1.4 G Master, plus a Sony 35mm f/1.8! Id say im pretty much covered in all areas. @noth6064 ай бұрын
well, everything is a compromise on something, I have a 16-70 which is like a swiss army knife or a multitool. It'll do almost anything but if you have a prime you'll sooner compromize on the focal length and run the prime than reach for the 16-70 if possible. Not that the 16-70 is "bad" but it has a lot of compromises built into it that turn it into a multool it is, it's slow above all. But it does have OSS heh, so for some stuff it's gold.
