they do in fact ask questions that need you to actually apply the whitebox techniques and find the number of test cases or work out the coverage percentage a certain number of test cases cover etc. I failed this exam a while back due to lack of study and i remember a question like that in the actual exam caught me out. great video! hoping for a successful re sit this time around :)

Sorry to hear that but that shouldn't be the case as the topic is K2 which means understand and K3 means Apply. Which board you took the exam from. All the best for your Re-Sit

Not for now. The reason is they have not disclosed any syllabus and sample exam questions and please be aware this is not a ISTQB certification. It's from Brightest Academy.

Hi Sir, just a question... Release notes from Developers.. If the test cases are base from release notes, this is considered structured base testing or white-box testing? Even the release notes is created in a way like a user story?

Base on my understanding, since the release notes is not a view of a code.. Then if the test cases are created base from this release note doc... Then its black-box testing...? Am I right? Just want to confirm

No white box testing is testing a system at the back end (code level) and is an execution approach whereas what you mentioned is a test design technique. Also writing test based on developers release notes will never test the requirement as it will never refer that will be driven by code.

Hi Sir, just a question... If we are planning to take v4.0 ISTQB CTFL exam, does the previous version of sample questions (I think they were from version 3 on ISTQB CTFL syllabus) can still be used as a practice? or we should only focus on the sample questions for v4.0 Set A,B,C,D?

Hi sir, this is a chapter that I'm really struggling with along with chapter 5 and we know they the biggest contributors in the exam with 20 questions combined. I've been working hard on them but it is not easy, any advice of what can I do. Your response will highly be appreciated. Thanks
