TNA brought women's wrestling a decade ahead of WWE. My fav will always Sarita and Tara/Victoria. The feud between Gail Kim and Awesome Kong is legendary! Though I really liked the feud between Taylor Wilde and Awesome Kong. A fantastic talent of women wrestlers and great female wrestling matches that was not from Japan for a nice change. Then you have the X division and Tag Team that actually meant something and an excellent uppercard light/heavy weights and TNA was STACKED!!! The decision to hire Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan really hurt TNA as they were a COLOSSAL WASTE OF MONEY and TNA has been trying to recover ever since...

It never went away truly, they kept the match types, ppv names, title belt names, championship reigns etc; which kind of contributed it. It was never a fresh company like many tried to act like it was. Glad they are keeping the old logo and colours as would be weird to see it with the Impact Wrestling colours. As for the ring, I think the issue the six sided ring has was it looked compact, the one in AAA I think was bigger which would have made it easier to work, least looked bigger. So the way they could make it work is make it bigger but then there would be less crowd space of which they have little already with their current venue/venues, also if Destination X comes back they could use it as the signature ring for that event even if just a one off. With all that being said announcing the name change for that big PPV is brilliant as this is the best PPV to bring the name back openly as TNA is hard to kill.

TNA needs something to set it apart. Back in the six-sided ring days, that unique and major feature was probably the most marketable difference that made audiences tune in. Now that AEW is doing the "Alt-WWE" angle, TNA has one chance to attract a fanbase while the whole world is watching.
