An easier way to knot the hair without trying to fit your fingers thru is to use the needle. Once you feed the hair thru the braid with the needle procede as usual but don't pull needle out just yet. Take looped hair off and put the end of hair that's supposed to go thru loop and put it on needle close latch and bring it thru the loop to create knot this will avoid the aggravation of trying to fit your fingers thru. I hope this makes sense lol hard to explain in words.

I loved the way the hair style looks but the sad part is she cant wear it up without it looking less natural if you would have pulled the elastic knot off the hair and separated it into three or for strands and did the knotless method in the back also tease the naturally hair in the back she would have had a way more natural look with it in a high ponytail great work regardless I really liked the clean look (knotless method: take the loop apart and split it into 3 or 4 pieces take one piece and take the crotchet needle and pull the loop through the natural hair BUT only take one strand of the piece of hair and triple knot it for security and let the other strand lay on top /this method is normally used at the parts of the hair where you want it to seem more natural and around the front and the back of the hair the smaller strand you use the more natural it looks do not add spaces in between the knotless crotchet or it will look weird )this allows you to wear it up also be sure to lightly tease your natural hair were your going to put this method or your dont have to at all but preferably i would choose to tease also be sure to use much smaller strands near the edges to make it look more natural and lay flatter

you dont even need to open loop. Once your hook has pulled the loop through the braid use the hook to grab the whole free end and pull it up through the loop. no fingers needed. hope this helps safe you time

i am new to the crochet braids. Is this yaki hair human or synthetic? Does it tangle easily? I would like to find human hair crochet braids because I heard synthetic tangles easily especially if it is curly but my local beauty supply told me there is no human hair crochet only synthetic but I don't trust them because they don't use the product ( You know what I'm saying... :-/

It is synthetic. I find it tangles less than other straight hair. The amount it tangles depends on the length, how much you manipulate it, how you wear it etc..... You can get human hair crochet...I've never tried it so don't know if it tangles. But it's expensive......

It took 3-4 hrs to install, currently she is going on 5 weeks with this style. I posted a recent picture of the style on my Instagram (twistncoils), and it is still holding up. I will do a proper update video on the maintenance soon, right now she has been just bumping the ends as needed and using a pomade to slick down her edges. I used very low heat setting but I held the flat iron on there for a couple of seconds to get it to bump. I would test a piece of hair out first to see how long you should let it sit, 30 seconds might be too long depending on the heat setting; hope this helps!
