For the first time since Gurley before his knee injury, McVay has a back in Williams...like Gurley. Takes the pressure off of Stafford and opens more of the playbook. Plus Kupp is staying healthy and combines with Nacua, Williams, and Stafford to give opponents a many-headed monster to contend with...like the 49ers.

as a 9ers fan, the Rams are the team i would worry about, seeing their offense operates, its too similar to our offense, i just hope our defense can stop them. in the beginning of the season, when we face the Rams, we had a tough time stopping their WRs and the RB.

As a Rams fan, i’m happy to see that McVay is FINALLY beginning to understand the nature of the 49’ers/Rams rivalry: L.A. vs San Francisco, NorCal vs SoCal, Wine & Cheese vs Beer & Burritos, you don’t like us, we don’t like you, even through the Rams’ 21-year road trip to St. Louis. To his credit(and our detriment) Coach Shanahan got it early on and when we play, he makes sure his team knows “it’s RAMS Week.”

For the first time since Todd Gurley was in LA, McVay has a legit RB1, so he can go back to calling those kinds of plays he did in 2017-2018. McVay is all about throwing the ball so it's good to see him realize that you've got to be balanced.

This is 100 percent false. In order for a coach to be apart of another coaches tree they would have had to been promoted to a head coaching position as an under study like an offensive coordinator/ defensive coordinator. That is simply not the case in this situation. Sean was a tightends coach under Kyle and then moved to OC when Kyle left. They both got there head coaching jobs the same year so that wouldn’t make sense. Now Mike McDaniels is part of Kyle’s coaching tree
