I had a baseball coach at USC that would scare me to this day. He'd come out to the mound during a game and tell you if you dont throw a strike this next pitch I'm pullin your mtrfkn scholarship. In fact that is a bad example because he was much meaner than that lol.

that's pretty interesting because conventional advice is praise in public, criticize in private. Looks like saban criticizes in public. The benefit is the whole team learns from one person's mistake. The cost is a more stressful situation for the target. I can see it working if you have a tight relationship with the target.

@@CriSPCriSPCRUNK last time I checked the recruiting is key to winning and LSU lost their Heisman QB and two of the best WRs to the draft so one loss to a clearly good team isn’t a big deal. It’s a long season and BK is a damn good coach
