Personally I’ve never been a huge fan of GoPros because of their layout and lack of good audio. I haven’t used their newer generations but this one definitely ticked many boxes that GoPros didn’t

Sounds like the only major setup is turning on the external microphone. I'll be keeping an eye out for one on eBay.

lol exactly. That’s the only piece that requires thought and elevates the quality significantly. And I forgot to mention in this one it works with Bluetooth so it works with phones too
