7.4 APG and haters still say he doesn't pass the ball, what more does he have to do to cure your blindness?
@NicolasAlcalde10 жыл бұрын
Pass the ball for more than 1 series?
@NicolasAlcalde10 жыл бұрын
gary bush That is for 1 series out of 7. His Finals averages are 25-5-5 on 41% shooting. That is called bad.
@NicolasAlcalde10 жыл бұрын
gary bush And my comment, that you responded to, was about his real averages. Kobe's fans always like to take a couple plays or a couple series as the whole story. 25-5-5 on 41%! That is bad. 41% is atrocious.
@NicolasAlcalde10 жыл бұрын
gary bush How does he find other ways to impact the games? Based off of his regular stats, he would probably barely be a top 30 player. Based off of the harm he does to his team, he has to be a lot farther down than that. 41% is not just bad shooting, it means that you took away shots from your teammates that could have made them. Shooting horrible clutch numbers just means that you took shots away from your teammates who could have made them and won those games. I'm not saying he is a terrible player, but he is extremely overrated. Most people would say that he is in their top 10/20 players of all time and it is pretty obvious if you actually take a detailed look at him that he shouldn't be anywhere near that. Like you said, he was only the 2nd best player on his team for 3 championships. He got to benefit from having the greatest coach we have ever seen in the NBA. Some people don't realize how much of an impact that has, but look at the Bulls before Phil and the Lakers after him. Kobe shouldn't even have 1 MVP. He, arguably, should only have 1 finals MVP. And if you watch the games you will see just how harmful he is. There are specific stats showing that the more he shoots, the more his team loses and yet he continues to shoot more than anyone in the league. His lacking defense is very obvious. His very poor shot selection is a huge detriment to his team. His superb ability to miss shots in clutch situations is extremely detrimental to his team. He is a terrible teammate/leader and pushed away the best center in the NBA away from the Lakers, twice! When Phil was there, he would often say that Kobe was the reason their offense wasn't working. When you can blame your team losing on 1 guy, how is he really that good?
@jasperguy18658 жыл бұрын
+Nicolas Alcalde yeah but taking contested shots. something lebron can't. kobe vs 3 vs 4 and still makes fads aways.. fadeaway 3s. lebron just flops, bc he can't even make 1 contested shot with 1 person guarding him smh. i watch kawai lenord guard him cavs vs spurs. couldn't even shake him. pshh. see stats are for people who want to look good, but being unguardable in the game while being contested, thaw a WHOLE NOTHER thing. id recommend you to watch kobe 2009 finals, and also some games in 2008 and 2006. and 2013. close to lebrons age right now. and compare their game. kobe makes much more contested shots than lebron

Dude I seriously just hate how people talk about Kobe, I mean like have you seen him play? Even the ESPN commentators, they don't even know how great Kobe is! I think if I Kobe won at 3 MVP awards he would've been the best and other people would see how great he is! Kobe just got robbed badly, yet in his 19th year averaging 27.4 points per game. Smh

+jrplaysfootball123 Finals MVP is bull shit though; along with any other MVP's. Don't you think? In that 1980 finals before Kareem got hurt, he WAS the reason the lakers were winning the series. Kareem's stat went: 34ppg, 14rpg, 5bpg, 3apg, at FG:55% Jamal Wilkes had 37points and 11 rebounds in magic's first finals mvp game. You can't count rings as yours unless you are the leader on your team. I love Kobe, but the greatest lakers list to me goes: 1) Kareem- 4 2) Shaq-3 3) Kobe-2 4) Magic-1 5) West-1 6) Wilt-1 7) Baylor-1(was injured and did not play) Shaq was a monster, who had a prime that was exceeded by no one, only perhaps tied with others' primes. 3 of Kobe's rings are Shaq's; it isn't insulting to say so, it's the truth. LOOK at Shaq's finals averages in those years. Magic was the greatest PG ever, but people really insult Kareem by giving Magic too much credit. The was the leading scorer, rebounder, scoring efficiency, clutch, shot blocker, on any team he was on for most of his career...2/3 of the lakers as well. Give Larry Bird Kareem, and see what happens? lol Yeah. It's like that.
