@@TNTGamingonline People at FromSoft use lots of inspiration from Berserk. There is a vid where someone actually does a side by side comparison of all the influences throughout the Dark/Demon Souls and Elden Ring games. Hell, the symbol in Elden Ring title looks like the Mark of Sacrifice.

In the lore, this dlc is about the story of Miquella becoming a god; through exploring his mothers hidden past. Through that past, there's revealed a new demigod name Messmer; who is heavily implied to be completely against everything that his mother stands for through his design. It would explain the reason she would hide him from the world, as he is very clearly a mistake through her eyes; but I think Miquella wants to save him in some way.

This was my first souls game too and i managed to squeeze in around 350 hours in this game xD Still havent finished it cause Malenia and Godfrey are clapping my cheecks xD Now Sekiro on the other hand... i love the combat flow in that game but i am bad at it so i am pausing the playing of that game for some time xD
