Great videos. I love the content, with the exception of the "deal lector" term as too many folks try to thread the needle as collectors, but they are really low-level dealers. Keep it up!

Thank you, CBN! Good point: the line between collector and dealer can get pretty murky. I do find that most good dealers do have a passion for the books, like Rick. I'm always turned off by dealers who don't seem to know anything about books but the potential money associated with them.

Really awesome video. I really like the kind of “inside baseball” type advice Rick shared in discussing kind of a sweet spot in numbers of books to consign and other nuggets. I also very much enjoyed his measured advice in encouraging people to collect and pursue said collections responsibly. Great stuff!

Thank you, Two Bent! Yeah, I liked the consignment advice too. Makes sense and actually has been my experience. Over the years, my books have done well at auction collectively. I've had a few disappointments, coming in at only 75% or 80% of what I thought they would sell for. But, then again, I've had a few books sell for twice as much as I anticipated which more than offset the "losers."
