that little soft voice riff that zayn does at the end of the song is a very famous pakistani cultural melody and if you listen carefully to his music you'll notice that he always makes sure to add that riff or similar pakistani riffs as a cultural twist to most of his songs and i think that's so wholesome because it's like a little secret between his pakistani fans and him or a gift given by him to us bc we recognize it so easily yet the rest of the world doesn't even notice it !

Although I'm not Pakistani, have always loved its singers and musicians and Coke Studios sessions so I now recognise melodic patterns quite easily/and have been so happy that he always includes these riffs/I'm sure many others do notice this with the same joy as you do/he is an enigma!!

Ingrid has been one of the best and most underrated in the game for so long! Zayn is actually a fan of hers and he is the one that reached out to see if she was working on anything so that they could collab! You have to check out more of her music. You probably know some of her more popular stuff like ‘Be Ok’ and ‘The Way I Am’. But she has so much good music.

But not having the backing of a huge record label definitely has a huge impact on her lack of mainstream attention or radio play. She’s had a couple radio hits, but definitely nowhere near the amount she should have!

There is something completely different in Zayn's vocals in this song and I can't explain it, I can't find the words to explain it. There is so much emotionality, calmness and peace that the soothing power in his vocals in this song drags me along with the flow. His voice in this song is incredibly soothing. I wish we heard more of this kind of thing from him.

This soooong 😭 And Ingrid is such a beautiful and talented person. I discovered her maybe between 2008-2010 when she made a Toxic (Britney Spears) cover that I loved. After that I listened and LOVED some of her songs (that I keep listening once in a while) like: Maybe, Starting Now, Lady in Spain, Oh What a Day, The Way I Am (the first song I learned how to play with the ukulele), Breakable, You and I, Be OK and O-M-G her cover of Can't Help Falling in Love!!! (it was used for the Like Crazy trailer and I was sobbing before watching the movie and then I watched it and I cried a lot more jajaja). But I have to be honest, after that I didn't follow her career :(
