There is a house built out of stone Wooden floors, walls and window sills Tables and chairs worn by all of the dust This is a place where I don't feel alone This is a place where I feel at home 'Cause, I built a home For you For me Until it disappeared From me From you And now, it's time to leave and turn to dust Out in the garden where we planted the seeds There is a tree as old as me Branches were sewn by the color of green Ground had arose and passed it's knees By the cracks of the skin I climbed to the top I climbed the tree to see the world When the gusts came around to blow me down I held on as tightly as you held onto me I held on as tightly as you held onto me And, I built a home For you For me Until it disappeared From me From you And now, it's time to leave and turn to dust

Good job and all that , but how can you "love" people you don't know? It degrades the word surely, and is a casualty of the overdone superficiality which exists in celebrity culture? Easy to say but difficult to truly mean. And it seems the "love" is dependent upon being adored .... conditional? Please keep it real. Nice cover, but I don't "love" you .... that is saved for my nearest and dearest; that sort of love is enduring and not fleeting or blind :)

SearchBucket2 When a person bares out all they have in front of people, which they often do when playing or making music, people choose to either submerge into it, or diverge from it. Through music, we see a person's soul, their passions, their personality, their dreams, their emotions, their vulnerability, and through that we learn to love them and who they are. Sure, we don't know all about them, but then again, sometimes we don't know everything about those we hold closest. We love people, why? Because they evoke something within us. An unknown passion, or a sweetness we never understood. We love people, not because we know every crevice of their mind, every inch of their aspirations, every impact of their being. No, because often times we don't fully understand that. We love that despite not knowing everything, we can take what we have and cherish it. We love the impact on our being . We love that they inspire us, that their art, or just their being makes us want to better people, or better artists, or better at knowing our emotions, or better at loving, or just better in general. This is not blind, nor is it fleeting. Music is there for me, always. As it is for so many other people. Those who show us that we are not alone, that they know how it is to go through what we are going through, that is what makes us love them. Love for music is unconditional, and through the words of people who show us why that is, is why it is not fleeting. You may dismiss it as superficial, but we see the unhidden emotion which we are drawn to. We see the pain or happiness or love that is beneath the words, we see the shattering depth of the voices we know are there. In my mind, it doesn't degrade the word, because artists show us how to love deeply, because many have not learned how to love. My love for art, and music, is unbreakable, is inflexible, and I've learned to love those who have shown me this enduring love.
