Draw lines from P through all the even numbers, not just 2. So from P through 4 Also P through 6 That will give you more polygon points without the accumulated error from repeated compass arcs

Why did you use 2 on the diameter? What if it psssed through 4?

Whichever polygon you are constructing even be it 100 sided, the line drawn from the intersection of the arcs must pass through point "2"
