Hi Vladimir & Family "Xīnnián kuàilè" I am of Indian heritage and a Sikh married to an English guy but born in the UK and very like the Chinese people we have many many festivals. My favourite celebration was and still is 'Gurpurab' which is the celebration of the birth anniversary of the first Sikh guru who was the founder of Sikhism. As you can imagine it is a time of happiness, joy of family and togetherness not to mention the more formal celebrations and the lovely 'Guru ka Langar' which is the blessed food. @@VladWorks I am Chinese born brit, lived here most of my life except a few years in Hong kong. Recently I have been thinking about moving back to my parents homeland. parents are 80s, me and my sister are 50s. My Dad is from Shantou but they like Zhongshan. I guess we need a place that speaks cantonese...my sister and i would need to learn mandarin which shouldn't be hard. i love uk countryside but the country is losing it's appeal more and more. i have become too comfortable here with no real drive. At the moment we are mulling around about it. I wouldn't even know where to start...so I think I need to do some research about how to emigrate to china. i would also need to learn to read and write too.
