Mujhse pehli si mohabbat mere mehboob na maang,
aur bhī dukh haiñ zamāne meñ mohabbat ke sivā
rāhateñ aur bhī haiñ vasl kī rāhat ke sivā
lauT jaatī hai udhar ko bhī nazar kyā kiije
ab bhī dilkash hai tirā husn magar kyā kiije
mujh se pahlī sī mohabbat mirī mahbūb na maañg
Toh ab lagta hai ki koi pooche
Ki aisa kya hua faiz, kis baat ne pareshan kiya,
tumne haath kya uthaa liya mohabbat se, mohabbat ne kitno par haath utha diya.
Ache khaase kaam kaaji ghar jaa baithe,
Aur nikkamon ne likh likh kar itna naam kamaa liya.
Toh koi pooche ki aisa kya hua faiz,
jo jawaani milti hai barbaad hone ko, usme khamkhan kyun aazad ho gaye.
Do baatein ki, chaar sher likhe,
humein toh le doobe,aur khud aabad ho gaye!
Kuch toh hua hoga,
Kuch dekha hoga nazro ne,
Nahi toh kiisi ne kuch kahaa zaroor hoga.
Dil badaa tha tumhara,mushkil tha kisi gair ka saari mohabbat loot kar le jaana,
Dil mein chor tumhare bhi rahaa zaroor hoga.
Toh koi pooche ki aisa kya hua faiz,
Jo doobe rehte the kabhi,
Kyun dhasne, jhatpataane lage baahon mein unki.
Apni ek, unki ek, dhadkanon ki chaadar buni
Jhatke se udhed kar phir kyun chale gaye Saanson se unki
Tum kehte ho nazar laut gayi tumhari,
chalo ye bhi maana,
Jab kisi ke zakhm nasoor ban gaye honge,
Zameer dukhne lagaa hoga
Shabd chil gaye honge
Imaan jhukne lagaa hoga
Tab nazrein tair gayi hongi sanam ki aankhon mein,
yun ashk kinaara kar gaye, tum ishq mein phir padh gaye
ki gir padhe,
tum ro diye,
tum rone se katraate the,
haste the haalaton par
tum has kar bhi pachtaate the.
Kis baat ne hairan kiya?
Makhmal mein lipti laashon ne, bachi khuchi kuch saanson ne,
insaano ne,haivano ne, murda si nanhi jaano ne!
Kis baat ne hairaan kiya?
Mazhab aur dharm ne jab baant liya insaano ko,
Kaat diya, do tukdo mein, aur naam diya shaitano ko
Wo bande nahi the Allah ke, wo kafir the
Bhakt nahi wo bhatke huye musafir the.
Khuda parast logo ko jab khuda nahi milaa toh unhone
dil chota kar liya.
Chote dilon se mohabbat nahi hui
Aur unhone kya kiya
mohabbat ko maar diya.
Zubaan kheech li,
Shabd kaat diye,
Soch raundh di,
jism baant diye.
Kuchal kar chale gaye jazbaat saare,
pair mohabbat pe bhi padh gaya!
Phir kehte kya na karte faiz,
tumne bhi inkaar kiya.
Jaise the, zinda toh the
ye ishq wishq bekaar kiya.
Badi zillat hai ishq mein,
badi himmat karni padti hai,
Itni itni Khushiyon ki bhi
Keemat bharni padti hai.
Tumhari hi tarah mujhe bhi
kabhi raas nahi aayi mohabbat
Kabhi koi apna hota hai toh farz mohabbat,
Kabhi maang li gair se toh karz mohabbat.
Kabhi haal chaal poochne ke peeche sawaal mohabbat.
Kabhi jawaab mein haan sunne ka khwaab mohabbat.
Mohabbat na hui, museebat ho gayi.
Maine kinaara toh kar liya par
Kabhi haseen aankhon ke ishaare,
kabhi kisi hothon ke sahaare
Ik tarfa mein jeet gaye
Kabhi dono tarfon se haare.
Haar gaye.
Zamaane ke ranj o gham ne haraaya.
mohabbat hui bhi toh mili nahi,
mili toh badi der se,
Jab mili tab tak
Ye jaahil apni mashookaon ko sab de aaye.
Chand ke tukde kar diye
Saare taare de aaye
Phool noch kar le gaye
Saari bahaarein de aaye
Dhoop bhar le gaye jebon mein
Baarishein unke naam kar di
Inn kambakhto ne pee pee ke
Sharaab bhi haraam kar di
Aashiqui mausiki shayri
Lafzon ka dher lagaa aaye ye
Ab zyada se zyada wo bhi Kya karti,
Na kar deti na?
Mere hisse ki zillat bhi utha aaye ye.
Toh kuch isliye bhi khuda khairat mein chand log de diya karta hai,
Kyunki wo samajhta hai,
Wo samajhta hai ki aashiqui jitni mehnat gar khuda apne har rishte mein karwaaye toh tek tek kar izhaar e mohabbat mein miya uske bando ke ghutne ghis jaayein.
Toh ye jaan lo ki din kam hain aur log bohot,
umr bhar ka saath nahi
nafrat ko kya chahiye,
Do baatein kaafi hain
Par mohabbat har kisi ke bas ki baat nahi.
Tum jao, ek umr padhi hai aage nibhaane ko
Par shayad main na kar paun ye sab kabhi kyunki mohabbat ke saare farz, saare dard, saare shauk ek baar milein toh hi jaayaz lagte hain.
Kyun likha maloom nahi par kya khoob likha hai faiz,
Mujhse pehle si mohabbat mere mehboob na maang,

You know i read Faiz very closely and although he was a legend to me but people could never understand Fiaz and i thought the way you put this together is beautiful by following the style that is Faiz used in his poetry you know that sudden twist that Faiz makes and it was filled with little references from poetry of Fiaz and i think you did a great job and i think i would help alot of people in understanding Fiaz.
