Poison really put in some work for me. I put Twilight Oath on SoS Lightening and had her normal attack on Turn 2 and then wherever I could fit it in later. 10% boss HP is a strong hit, especially when it hit the boss at 9% and finished it off. lol

Finally was able to find a friend w/new NV Lightning and unfortunatley LB was not upgraded... however, I was able to clear it in 9 turns. Now I just need the 5 turn kill mission to get the last mission complete. So i'll have to find someone else to burst it with.

Hey Sinzar, I know this will be a busier week for you, but would it be possible to get a video about CoW gear (or CoW in general), and what recipes we should focus on? I know new gear/materia has changed the hierarchy of items in CoW (Perfect provocation, new chain cap gear/materia). Appreciate all you do!

boss must have have high ailment resist. I could only get poison to land with a 100% weapon. None of the other ailment worked with Rainbow Whip

According to the wiki it's possible to silence Raines to stop any magic spells (like Ruinga, Deprotega, etc) so to those without any nethecite/ nulify skills, silence might work

Not only that, but he's also vulnerable to blind and poison, which deals 10% damage every turn. Very rare boss that's actually vulnerable to a couple ailments.

Im using an opposite of this clear. I have Beautiful Lightning at EX+2 and using Fang from friend list instead😁

Wouldnt DW on fang be better so her jump hits twice? She has 300 innate tdw and 6x chain cap as well.

tdh jump has custom variance now so its mostly equal to dw, and her 2h stmr adds 1500 atk

"try not to get under 50%" I took my best friend wonderous lightning and max damage was 92% . . . .think I'll be skipping the 400 lapis here.

You did 92% on turn 2? Try to make 1 support chainer use poison on the boss instead of supporting the chain and try to survive the next attack from boss. It may kill the boss after that since poison do 10% damage.

cleared it! 11 turns of poison no problem, 4.5B of poison damage a turn can't be beat. I forgot about poison.@@bankkun1
