Another tip that I’ve noticed is do not keep your hair in a ponytail/puff all the time. That’s why the front of my hair stopped growing as quickly as the back. Try to keep protective styles low tension.

I thought a pony is low manip. What would I recommend?
@ijeleo923 жыл бұрын
@@ms.psmiles5725 a pony or puff can be good but if you wear a tight pony day and night I fee it causes a lot of tengo on on the front of the hairs. And wherever the rubber band is ties I notice the hairs look weaker. If you do loose medium to large braids would be best. Or if you like your hair out of the way try using a head satin hair scarf or satin scrunchie instead of a hair tie to pack your hair.

She really is right about the deep conditioning REGULARLY it makes all the difference, and mixing it with henna or cassia the results go crazy! And yes tangle teezer is the truth. Before it I was finger detangling and it was a miserable experience for me as a type 4 girl and my hair was looking like a birds nest matted and never fully detangled. My new goals are oil my scalp and hair regularly, and start using teas more. I think I need a more hydrating one as my green tea one was a bit too much on my hair.

I am...a minimalistic naturalista 😘 I look at video reviews for 4C because anything that works for them will work for me (3C-4A) 😜 I needed moisture so Chebe definitely worked for me and my two sisters (all of us with different hair length/density/thickness/texture). I thank Chebe for my not having to trim more than 1 inch yesterday when I haven't had a trim in 2 years. I thought it was going to be atrocious. But, like henna, Chebe is MESSSSSYYYY (we did it during quarantine times) but unlike henna it doesn't stain. Now I'm looking for products that'll retain moisture but aren't messy. I came back to you because I recall you came out with a product line and my dry ends are my focus 😁

I appreciate the time you put into your videos. I have had good results blending essential oils like peppermint and tea tree. It took me some time figuring out what my hair really likes. So, now I know I need ashwagandha for my hormones. My hair is two inches. For my hair to thrive, I need to wash it, apply hair mask, oil scalp, oil strands, oil ends, & apply leave in conditioner the way I did the oil at least once a week. Now my hair is two inches long. Hopefully, I will see two more inches in 2 1/2 months. If so, I will be happy to share. ✝️🙏👏🌹

Thank you for this amazing video. I’m trying better to take care of my natural hair because in all honesty I didn’t really bother to take care of it as we’ll as I should have for a long time. You can say it’s a bit of depression, laziness, not wanting to spend the money ( curly hair products can be so pricey!) I’m surprised I still have hair on my head now but I contribute that to my healthy eating habits I believe that is why it’s decent looking to this point but differently can be much healthier in terms of moisture and less breakage.

Careful with henna also if you decide to lighten your hair after using henna. The bleach eats through henna on the hair and will literally break off anywhere that you use lightener on the hair. Other than that caution, I can attest that yes even for Caucasian hair henna thickens like crazy and really made my hair feel a lot more healthy. However I had to live with the red /copper tint for a long time.
