Following childbirth, I noticed my hairfall but I remained calm. I acted to to control it. I opted for a wellness-focused strategy. I took care of my diet, eating nutrient-rich foods, especially those high in Vitamin E and Protein. I worked out regularly and practiced meditation for stress management. I just stayed away from styles that pull on my hair and stopped using heated hair tools to minimise hair damage. I even started applying LittleExtra's Coconion shampoo and hair oil along with a neem wood comb. The result was hairfall control and the recovery of my confidence.

I've been using this cocoonioon anti-hair fall shampoo and it's been impressive. It has a pleasant smell and creates a rich lather, making my hair feel clean and fresh. I've noticed less hair fall and breakage over time, which is a big win. It removes frizziness. It's now my go-to for maintaining stronger, healthier hair.

As a hairstylist for the last 20 years, thank you for putting out this video! All your advice is sound and so good for all hair types. I will add that if you have very fun, very thin hair, you’re not necessarily doing something wrong, genetics do play a major role, but if you follow this advice, your hair can be it’s best version. God made you the way he did on purpose ♥️

@user-nn7jz7xg7q yes you can definitely improve the quality of your hair following the advice in this video. You may also want to watch haircare videos from a youtuber called Katherine Sewing who has category 3-4 hair which is prone to being very dry and frizzy. She fixed her damaged hair and it's extremely beautiful and long now. Your hair texture changes a little over time with hormones too, so if your hair is going grey then the texture will be slightly different from how it used to be, but you can still improve it a lot following a more natural and nourishing routine.

I love your approach and you’ve reminded me why natural beauty is so truthful and fulfilling! I for years have left my hair untouched, almost no cutting, no color. The allure of the stylish women or women of other eras is enticing, but allowing and accepting what God has given us, and really maintaining it with the upmost care is going to make us feel more relaxed and much more beautiful and it allows the inner beauty to show more I believe! Keep up the good work encouraging women to take care of their bodies hair and souls and bringing this light to all in the process!

I've had such rollercoaster journey with my hair, I used to have type 2C/3A, and very dry hair, I always had split ends, and if I didn't use deep conditioner, or leave-in conditioner, my hair would feel like hay, so I started using a products for curly, dry and damaged hair, I tried a whole bunch of different products, and after years of that, now my hair is super thin and breaky, I get an oily scalp within a day, my curls/waves are completely gone, and it actually got to a point I had to chop my hair off use of how damaged it got from all of the drugstore products, but thanks to you, I am now starting my natural hair care journey and hopefully my hair will find its strength, volume and curls once again!

Love you so much sis and appreciate your content, especially that you mentioned all hair types, as a 4C woman, it's been a life long struggle and slow untraining of my brain to love and appreciate the hair the good Lord gave me which is the polar opposite of your lovely long strands :). Some people might be confused by the term "natural hair" as it's been coined in recent years towards women in the black community in an effort to get more of us to stop chemically straightening our hair or wearing wigs and weaves. You might not have known that, and I totally understand, not offended at all, just wanted to share :) All of this information is beneficial, being 5'10" it would be really unique and awesome too if you did a video with tips for clothing and other things for those of us taller than the average man! Love this video. I wish more people had this information. You did a beautiful job explaining. Diet is so important! We also eat a more ancestral nourishing tradition diet. I do the castile soap for me and my 3 girls and the ACV rinse and then each of the girls get to pick their essential oil after the hair is air dried...usually honeysuckle, lavender, or another floral scent. This is also very cost effective we all have very long hair so buying any type of premade shampoo and conditioner could get rather expensive. Natural products are much more effective and you need much less. I love that you gave knowledge of all hair types not just yours. Your a so very gracious with your words. Our bodies are a temple and a very precious gift. Thanks for the beautiful video.

Just a note on the formaldehyde that I found super interesting. I am taking the Master Herbalist Course from School of Natural Healing- in one of the radio show videos that they had us listen to David Christopher talked about how a Mortician was talking about how they have to use less formaldehyde now then when he began his career 40+ years earlier (this was recorded in the early 2000s) and he was contributing it to the amount of formaldehyde in all the stuff people use and take. I just found that really interesting and sad. Anyways- thanks for the video, one of my goals this year is to completely adapt a natural hair care routine. I already go 7 days between washings but I have a lot of scalp issues and had to transition back to using a shampoo and conditioner (as natural as I could get) but now I realize I was skipping all the oils- I was just washing was castile soap and rinsing with AVC- Im going to add in all the oils and hopefully that will help with the scalp issues. Anyways blessings and Shalom to you!

I love watching hair videos. I myself have 4c hair & ive noticed that women with long hair all care for their hair similarly: using oil before washing and in scalp care, trying to extend between wash days (for their hair type), deep conditioning, using clays, braiding hair & low manipulation & caring for ends, many having a long layer look or blunt cut. Has definitely helped me on my journey. Currently at bra strap & it’s the longest it’s even been so excited for this journey. I also love clays & ACV. Funny enough our hair to wash day is pretty similar I just wash every 2-4weeks as my hair loves it. Thanks for your content ❤

Thank you so much for this! After I had my 8th baby, terrible things happens to my hair and skin. Dry brittle, falling out, thin and frizzy. I had hair like yours ( straighter though) so it was a devastating blow to my emotional state. And it’s impossible to find good advice on clean effective hair care. Everywhere I looked and everyone I spoke with just suggested chemicals. Thank goodness I knew better. I cannot stomach organ meats so I started taking grass fed organ meat supplements, and I believe they helped quite a bit. But the process is a slow one. I really, really appreciated all this Information. It’s worth it’s weight in gold.

The women that people consider to be the very most Christian - nuns - actually have most of their heads shaved! Just the little front of their hair that peeks out of the head cover is allowed to be longer. This is to avoid vanity, so I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that your shaved head could be considered just as Christian. Personally, my desire to transition into more natural lifestyle comes as a way to get away from much of what religion taught me. Crazy how different journeys can get you to the same destination!

This is the first time i have seen anyone in the same boat as me! About 5 years ago, i had ribcage length hair that i had seriously put through the wringer with frequent hair dye, harsh chemicals, and heat tools. It was looking really bad, and i had only just realized it after coming out of a depression funk when my two babies were small. Anyways, i decided to shave the back and sides of my head and chopped the rest to chin length...after a year or two of that style, i simply shaved my head bald. I was exhuasted and couldnt keep up with any self care at the time. Dark place! Well, my hair has been growing out since then, about 4 or 4 1/2 years, and its nearly waist length! My husband os happy to have my long hair back and im learning to appreciate my hair, and care for it naturally. It used to be a type of art for for me, but ive realized that God already created art with my natural hair just the way He made it. Also in recent years, with the LBGTQXYZ nonsense going on and getting more prevalent, i dont want to be lumped into a certain group of people...like it or not, people make assumptions about everyone they see at even a first glance. One day i was at walmart looking for a vitamin, and this maybe 16 or 17 yo kid comes up to me and says "hey, you look pretty chill, will you buy me some cigs?" 🫣 as a conservative bible-believeing and church-going middle aged mom of two, that was like a slap in the face wake up call! I want to glorify my Creator in all things, including my appearence and how i carry myself. And so i made some decisions and have changed how i dress, my hair, wesr no make up anymore, which my skin is happy about and getting ready to go anywhere is so much better. Sorry, that was a long comment. I was just excited to find someone out there with similar convictions as me!

Thank you so much for this, Lea! It came right on time, what a coincidence. I really needed this. My hair started to break or fall and I'm in need of some strength. Not sure what caused it yet, but God willing I will soon. My hair is very oily and I barely use any product, sometimes I would skip conditioner on my ends all together, but I think that was not a good idea. I used to do homemade hair treatments every other week with olive oil, coconut oil or avocado oil and added either honey or and egg, and all of a sudden I just stopped doing it all together. This video was so great! I prayed to God to teach me and guide me on what to eat and how to take care of my hair. Thank you, Lea. I believe this was the Holy Spirit. ❤God bless you.🤗

It took me 2 years to go shampoo free. It was a horrible journey. I was just so fed-up with the constant washing. My hair never seemed to look good for more than half a day. And eventually ALL shampoos caused sores on my scalp. I now only wash my hair once a week (on occasion I leave it longer). NEVER use any kind of shampoo anymore. I found an old-fashioned kind of basic glycerine soap bar. That's all I use. No more problems. My daughter is 12. I luckily never started washing her hair with (adult) shampoos. I did use some gentle baby shampoos when she was younger. Now we just wash with this soap once in a while, otherwise just water. She's never had any oily hair or sores etc. Her hair grows super strong and long.

Hi Lea, this video makes me happy for what is to come. I have been working a job for the last seven years. My husband has been asking me to quit for years. God got a hold of my heart on this matter and clearly showed me I was disobeying (praise God!). My husband made the final decision to call me home (he said he’s never wanted his wife to work and he didn’t take a wife to make her work) and my last week of work is next week. My husband wants me to spend the first many months on my self and spiritual care. I have been wanting to adopt a natural hair care routine for a long time and I was always exhausted coming home from work so I didn’t have the energy to try something new. I’m really excited to try this routine after my job ends next week. I agree with what you said about us needing to get back to a more natural, God created, historical way of eating and living. We are a very sick people group because of all of the toxins.

Thanks for such a detailed video about hair routine! I used to wash my hair with gassoul clay + applied argan oil after the wash. But living in Russia, the prices for foreign products have rocketed so much I had to look for other options. So now I wash my hair either with rye flour mixed with water (an amazing method used by our ancestors) or with egg yolk (superb as well). For a scalp detox I sometimes use bicarbonate of soda mixed in hot water (1 teaspoon per cup), cool it down and apply on dry hair with massaging motions. Then rinse with apple cider vinegar water.

I have low-porosity hair. My cuticle is so tight it rejects water and moisturizers. Cold water would further tighten them. The LOC method works well for me. I brush my hair with a Denman paddle brush. It gently detangles my thick hair and doesn't make it big and poofy like other brushes did. My hair doesn't rip out the tines like it does with some. It also is easier to clean. I only wash my hair once a week but condition it daily. I prefer conditioner cleansing my hair. I love Shea butter conditioners. I scrunch excess water with a microfiber towel and then I plop/plunk (type of turban for curly/wavy hair) with a longer microfiber towel for 15 minutes. Then I comb in my part. I apply a leave-in conditioner, a cream, and finish with oil and let it air dry. Days I don't wash my hair, I dampen it with a continuous spray bottle, comb with a wide tooth comb, apply a curling cream, and a jelly. I scrunch my hair gently with my fingers. Once a week I deep condition my hair with a flaxseed heated cap for 30 minutes. Hair treatments at room temperature take 8 hours to get to my scalp. My scalp and hair are dry. My favorite toxin free brands are Bubble & Bee Organic and Healing-Scents. They are affordable. My wavy hair loves a combination of Jessicurl (Hair Cleansing Cream and Too Shea Conditioner) and Dr. Kanks low-porosity styling products. My mother doesn't like the smell of Dr. Kanks herbal shampoo bar and their hair masque is difficult to spread. Mine grows to my waist but the spring factor makes it somewhat shorter. My sister's straight hair grows to her mid thigh but she currently has it short and dyes it blue black. My hair is mostly dark brown with reddish highlights and a few grey hairs. I actually like them. They are shiny and some curl better than my dark hairs. I'm 44.

This was so helpful! I’m transitioning into more holistic products (cleaning, beauty, and body care) and although Im much improved, it still is very much a process. I have quite curly hair but can’t go very long without washing otherwise I have lots of fallout. I suspect it may be due to the creams and mousses I use on it so Im just trying to use them up and then invest in more natural products to see if that makes a difference. It’s kind of fun to see what works and try new things out! Most of the time, Ive found the simpler, the more effective.

I use Aloe Vera gel as a “gel” or mouse to fix my hair. It works great . Holds my style all day. No hair spray. If I’m braiding or platting my hair ,I dampen my hair first then apply the Aloe Vera gel . I do the same if I’m curling my hair with heatless cloth . Love how soft my hair is after I take it down. It also leaves no white flakes like harsh chemicals do.

You should start considering online consultation. You can explain these things so they’re easy to understand. And I have so many follow up questions that might be specific to my hair type. This side of hair care doesn’t get as much recognition from what I’ve seen, but with your knowledge, audience, and personability you would probably get some clients that you could charge for zoom sessions. If you get a lot of people, you could organize them by hair type in separate classes that way people can ask questions that others may have but wouldn’t have thought to ask about.

Also she may not be aware of how much time it takes on wash day when it comes to deep conditioning pre poo detangling and styling for us but it can take upwards of 4-6 hours without breaks 😫😫😫 so it really it is an all day commitment sometimes 2 days depending on breaks style length and drying etc ….issa lot 🙏🏿
