First things first, this lady is so breathtakingly beautiful🥺❤️ I’m sorry that you had to go through so much Sisi. What I have learnt from this story is that: - As African parents we can do better and change the narrative, as a parent it is your responsibility to educate your children especially a girl child about Sex Education, teach them that when you engage with a man you will fall pregnant and have a child, imagine this 14 year old at the time knew nothing about the dangers and consequences of sexual activities. - Children will mess up and make mistakes but as a parent you can’t do this to your child, throw them away and allow a man to abuse them like this all in the name of punishment💔 - There is a thin line between being evil and being a strict parent, what this lady’s father did was evil and very wrong😩 In summary “Childhood traumas and underlying issues” are serious bethuna, let us be kind to each other we really don’t know what people have been through😭😭 what a painful story, your life was ruined at a very young age but we thank God that he carried you through it all🙏❤️ Sending you so much love and light🫂❤️

@chulekazikalipa4147 Жыл бұрын
@@Vhhandle I know you probably mean well, but that does not help except 'keep the babies away'. What we should be encouraging is CONVERSATION. Talk to your child about these things and then both decide if contraception is something that she even wants to do, because that in itself(the pill) can have major effects on her in the long run. Some of which she could hate you for if you never spoke to her about it in the first place. Surely if you are willing to make her contracept, she is old enough for you guys to speak about sex. 14 and 15 year olds are old, you cannot take such decisions on their behalf unless you are THAT kind of parent.

We honestly have to be better parents than our parents were. Some of these customs are soooo backdated and really won't work in today's world. The world has so many pressures now and life has become hard. Back then a girl child would be chucked to the boy's home no matter then age because people were self sufficient and life demanded very little and was simpler. As time goes, your daughter get pregnant look for a baby sitter and send her right back to schooled before she becomes abused by the guy responsible and experience what Mandy experienced. At the end of the day the girl child is the one who'll probably end up being the single parent looking after that child anyways. Better equipped than thrown to the wolves.
