Thank you! The biggest factors make it a little easier where that it's not a terribly rugged cave and it's much warmer than our lava tubes. But there is vertical so a person needs to climb to be able to get in there. Otherwise it's also very small compared to caves we are used to. There was maybe a 100 feet (30 m) of crawlway in hellhole. We commonly do over a 1000 feet at a time.

Great video keep up the great work! My friends and I actually did this not too long after your success on July 31 and took the same route you did! I personally had claustrophobia and when I saw these sort of videos beforehand, and I shivered at the feats y’all take and never saw myself doing anything of this sort in a million years. The first couple rooms were scary at first with the body-tight crawls, especially corkscrew being disoriented for part of the time, but then I turned on some relaxing music and we had a good time to the bottom and put our names in the log! We had great guides so everything went relatively smoothly just rather slow, because we had more people in our group, but the experience was definitely one to remember! I think one thing that was really useful was having lots of light, especially on the vertical sections where the headlamps sometimes wouldn’t make do, which was where our extras lamps held by people above or below us really helped! Good luck in your future adventures and stay safe :D P.S. I also learned not to bring good shoes the hard way! I brought a pair of running shoes and they now have holes all over so I now need new ones haha
@CalvinHikes3 жыл бұрын
That's awesome to hear you did it. It's a great cave to learn in because it's relevant yeah relatively safe but still quite tight in a few spots and it does require pretty athletic climbing. Most caves are pretty hard on shoes and clothes in general. Yes, We think more light is better as well. When we finally start taking big flashlights it kind of changed the way we cave. Yet with less light my own tolerances for darkness is less. With good lights the caves are prettier easier to navigate and I can stay in them for days.

I have probably watched every hell hole video on KZbin and I still cringe and twist in my bed as I watch. Idk how anyone does this. It walkways amazes me how they get out the going in part looks like the easier of the two missions but getting out looks so tough! I could never so thanks for letting me experience if through your films

Easiest cave we ever did! Part 2 with my nephew Jacob... we pushed this cave to its limits. It'll make your toe's curl.

@@CalvinHikes thank god cause you will be the first one on the internet to post a good video of pushing this cave. Can I request to make the video longer than your average. Since you will be the first to do so. Thanks the great vids!
