This speech should be broadcast simultaneously over ever medium globally. A global acknowledgement of the foolish error of our ways. R.I.P., Daniel. Sadly, you were one of kind.

You have to but admire some Americans who fight for a real and fairer society and persist as they do in the face of a small group of power hungry morally bankrupt elite, who practice the politics of terror, a culture of fear, and the spectacle of violence not only domestically but globally. What productive. important and courageous life this man has had!!

I’ve known who Daniel Ellsberg is for a long time. I’ve known about his bravery, and what he did for all of humanity. What I didn’t know was that he was a beautiful, wise, gentle human being. Rest in peace, grandfather and thank you for sharing this video.

The passing of this true and brave journalist might get a mention in the msinstream media, but when Kissinger passes, he'll probably get tributes. That's the state of our world. RIP Daniel, you brought sanity to our lives, and may your influence live on, to bring positive change.

Daniel Ellsberg, an extraordinary hero, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023. Dan fearlessly risked everything in his unwavering quest for social justice and opposition to war. He was not only a cherished friend but also a guiding light for me and countless others. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to engage in extensive interviews with Dan while working on our film, "How to Stop a Nuclear War." I will miss his wisdom and radiant smile, but his warning to the world will be delivered. -- Paul Jay This interview was originally published on April 7, 2021. Man... I only heard Chomsky yesterday mention Dan's serious condition, I guess from an interview recorded a few days before. Well, Paul, I'm glad you took the time with him when you did, and had the conversations with him, yourself and Chomsky... does remind me of watching your interviews with Gore Vidal shortly before he passed, you do get some titans of history. Thanks for bringing us these.

I have loved your interviews with Daniel Ellsberg. I hope you can gather some of the better speakers you've had and do a kind of "in memorial" series. I know you will ask Noam Chomsky, but if you do have any panels I'd like to suggest Mark Blyth, Rana Foroohar, Gerald Horne, Larry Wilkerson, Steve Keen, Tom Ferguson, Giordano (from honest government adds) ... People with a variety of backgrounds who may have not ever met Daniel Ellsberg but have in some ways been influenced by him. I'm actually an Australian aerospace engineer who was born in the mid 1960s. There's things Daniel has said in those interviews you've done over the last few years that have given better clarity to many of the events of my life. You are so right he was an extraordinary hero and I feel the world is a lesser place today than it was yesterday.

The world will be that bit less humane without Dan. Dan was one of those people that really make me want to believe that "god" exists. So that such souls like Dan's could be granted eternal peace and joy.

Many do not know of those whom do not want the riches or fame , while others just want to obtain just such , those whom are doing the most good will never be publicly known , some are thrust into it and some just take up the flag to push forward
