I would like to see some physics for components of an action. For example, a series of videos talking about the physics of a 100m dash, the first talking about the forces of muscle fibers and how much force and compression the bones undergo coming out of the box, the next video discussing the state of the body as it runs (internal forces, shock absorption, acceleration, etc) and another at top speed, discussing wind resistance and why it's top speed, another on slowing down...

I don't know if you anything about soccer but there was a huge thing during the 2010 World Cup on the affect caused by the soccer ball. Players said it would spin and dip unpredictably in the air, especially in high altitudes. There's also the physics on what makes the "impossible goal" (goals scored from the worst angle possible) possible

Some ideas I would enjoy seeing: (1) How the 2008 amazing swimsuits made such a big difference (2) Does Oscar Pistorius actually get an advantage from his "blade" legs? (3) How "level" can a gymnast on Still Rings get in an Iron Cross? (4) Are there quantum effects in swimming/track-and-field timing setups?

Because of the spin and the fact that it's travelling forwards in one direction, on one side of the ball there will be a higher pressure than normal, whilst on the other there will be a lower pressure than normal, resulting in the ball veering off in this direction.

My suggestion would be Olympic Weightlifting (clean and snatch movements). Of course, I am biased. This isn't too advanced in terms of physics, but still a great dissection is always fun. You could analyze the forces from the point when the bar is on the ground, through the vertical motion, and where it stops in the air. Also, work into the analysis the parts of the body that are straining/working to lift that bar. Thanks for you spectacular videos! Have a great time in London!
