This is a box and whiskers plot? Unless I've misunderstood....although I had to go into a weird setting to make them, it wasn't obvious in excel

A really neat example of self-contained time travel (like Harry Potter) is in the video game TimeSplitters 2. In it you will often encounter your future self via cutscenes that gives you instructions or even team up with you for part of the mission. As you keep playing you will encounter or make use of what your future self was talking about until you eventually encounter a time portal and go back in time to the originial cutscene. So even though the exact same cutscene is used, it feels very different to the player since their perspective has changed from taking orders from your future self to giving orders to your past self.

Depending on the level of control the library gives, it seems like you could just use a box plot.

no it's not dodecagon, the orbit of the moon is it passes the earth then goes back like a black hole, creating some lines of the sun at the moon's orbit to the orbit of earth 🌞

It's actually amazing how much you can do with these programs. I have an .xlsx chart that draws filling for wardrobes with sliding doors in 3d. You can set the number of rows (and you can set custom width for each), then define the number of shelves, drawers and hangers per each row, and the table will draw a picture of what it will look like. And it will also calculate the price of course, since this was a project for a furniture retail company. All this was done without VBA or side plug-ins.

There's another chart I never ended up finding an easy way to make, at least in Excel: A 3D scatter plot. And in general, it would be nice to see more 3D charts in Excel, though I understand the challenge of dealing with 3D rotations.

Just plot a chart with two axis, one being kelvin the other celsius, plot the data using kelvin and set the min range to something reasonable and make the font of the kelvin scale invisible.

Anyone who listens in school knows that addition and subtraction have the same priority. And multiplication/division also do. The only reason A is listed before S and M is listed before d is because it makes it sound like more of a word.

Interesting I wonder what your view is on movies that use time travel differently like Timecop where every time he travels he actually goes to an alternate universe as each time he returns something changed. One of my most hated time-travel movies is '12 monkeys' because it's a perfect loop and nothing changes. You see a movie about someone going back in time to stop a terrifying thing that happened, but in the end it still happens. If you can time-travel then predestination cannot exist.

People, please leave the earth out of the twin paradox, it only adds unnecessary details and confusion, gravity and curving. The one twin can just as good stay floating in empty space while the other travels away and back.

1:30 Is it an assumption that the total energy change of the cat is the same in both scenarios? If not, then why? After all, in the first scenario the total energy change from both emitted radiation and kinetic energy is entirely measured in a frame moving with velocity v relative to cat while in the second scenario, the total energy change is measured using TWO frames , one frame at rest when measuring emitted energy from cat and then the kinetic energy is measured in a frame moving at constant velocity v relative to cat.

This feels like a dream. There's no way these videos exist. There's no way this is actually happening in this universe, it's hard to believe but it makes complete sense at the same time 😭. It's a whole new perspective to my brain which is used to quantum mechanics.. but I love this playlist too! I'll share it with my friends and etc who are interested to learn relativity from zero, since these videos broadened my perspective on reality, spacetime. I honestly still haven't understood why the speed of light is constant. I'd love to investigate in that. Because there's gotta be an answer to the "why" right?

Well... Any scientific computing/data science oriented programming language will allow for this type of plot and more to be done easily... Off the top of my head: - MATLAB/GNU Octave - Python - R - And many more... And... I'm fairly certain that the latest version of Excel allows for you to use Python for analysis and visualization directly.

You could kind of do this with a box plot - and those are included in most programs. You may need to hack it a bit, but it wouldn’t be too much trouble.

Python, matplotlib or ggplot or .. both and stack boxplots, but yeah, most software for visualization is kind bad. But I am not quiet sure if MATLAB, Minitab or Dataiku wouldn't be able to do stacked boxplots with custom y axis range.

Here is an argument against the idea that there is no first second or any dimension because they are all effectively the same they’re just more than them the first thing is that length is definitely the first dimension as it doesn’t make sense to try to apply it to a zero dimensional point that’s the reason why it is not comparable to like how many cups of water there are because in real life not counting 0 cups because it doesn’t really make sense in a theoretical world no matter how many cups of water are you add it is still all water and I don’t count something ridiculous like adding so much water that it into a black hole
