Some of the best shooters in the world shoot Command. Back Tension is based on luck... Ask the guys that shoot with their feet, what matters most. *Everything is about Mental Control.* Doesn't matter what anyone else does!

I know you did not say that back tension is based on luck that is a complete lie I’ve shot with a trigger for over a decade. I then switched to a hinge release and I am shooting better than I ever have

@@stensihver9925 if im nit mistaken, he uses a truball abyss, a thumb release. but that was his set up for last year, so im not sure about now. but the abyss does look very similar to a back tention

He does not punch he mixes pushing with back tension you can see where he ends up with his release hand.. he does not end up straight back but right behind his head.. he does not slap it just mixed with back tension.. why he ends up behind his head is to compensate for not pulling straight back otherwise his arrow does not come a where he wants too (i got the same so i can relate to him)

...Not sure what "punching" is, I "command release". Do what works best for you...End of story...

It's the difference between having a control on it or not. If you just smack the button, then that's punching it. The command release is slow and methodical, like the tension release, but the motion is driven directly from the thumb movement, not from the back muscles building tension in the system.

One person does it and now punchers are rejoicing lol should not be taught.....far more detrimental than helpful. This will now become a huge problem for weak shooters looking for an excuse....these are outliers!
