I don't think we've ever left a theater more flustered and upset. I do wonder if we were to go again(doubtful) would we be better able to digest some things. I know that ending had me (Cherish) ready to call the cops. It was horrifying. As always, thanks for your thoughts! It's great you've seen the two different conceptions of this piece.

The ending very much gave me Kanye West "Slavery is a choice". Like, we asked for it??!!

I agree with the idea that Jeremy had lofty goals, but the goals didn't translate at all. I was with the play until the ending. #horrible PS: I am so happy that I found you guys! Shout out to black women taking about theater! ✨
