I buy slabs but haven't sent anything out to get slabbed. Fees are a good reason. Good points. Thanks for the show and enjoy your day RJ!👍✌️

Great stuff RJ!! I like hearing thoughts on the slabs. I have never sent a card off to be slabbed. I still need a Schmidt Rookie for my 73 Topps set. Well done sir!

Hey R.J., Hope you are having a great day. Cool Schmidt Printing plate. Cool Meyer card. It may be beat up. But still fits in the collection. MY Thoughts on Slabs are easy. I have never slabbedone. I have won or been given some. But as you know when you collect sets, Its hard to include a Slabbed car in the set. Plus we have over 300k cards, So room is another reason we dont slab cards. Great insight and video tho.

Thanks for the response. The main premise of my video was not why do we grade. It was why are people willing to pay thousands more or tens of thousands more for a 10 over a 9 when none can tell the difference.

I agree with your list. I didn't think about the PSA registry. I haven't been on there is quite a while, but I was playing with it when I was registering my PSA HOF RCs and I loved the checklist and to see how my collection was doing vs. other collectors.

@@3GoodNerds It’s a brilliant marketing tool from PSA. As a set builder, the Registry is one of the main reasons I buy graded cards. Thanks for watching.

I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on the new thinking that cards graded before 2020 are devalued and not trusted. Are you planning on regrading any old slabs to ensure you get top value? And will we need to regrade again in 5 years if these slabs are no longer trusted like the old slabs? That’s something else I’ve talked about.

@@MrJmangini I’ll have to do a follow up discussion on this. Keep an eye out. Would love to hear your thoughts as well in a future video. Thanks for watching.

Graded cards hold more of a value and can be trusted as real
