At first, I wasn't going to watch this video since I'm not from the USA, and I thought it wouldn’t really apply to me. But with everything going on in my country (Venezuela) and even where I live now (Argentina), I realized these issues are actually really relevant to what I care about. Watching this helped me see things from a different perspective and made me care more about politics. I remember growing up with my aunts avoiding political conversations, even in a constructive way, so I learned to stay quiet about important stuff. But now we have access to info and a community where we can speak up and debate openly. It's so important to create spaces where we can listen, talk, and build something better for everyone. Let’s stay involved, for our communities and for the future. Thanks for this video, it’s super impactful!!!

My mother was usually right about everything, but there was one exception. She often said, "It's impolite to discuss religion and politics." However, I believe this is exactly why both areas are in such disarray! It's crucial to engage in open discussions, debates, and strive for mutual understanding with our families and neighbors. Without these conversations, how else can we make progress? Best Wishes...

Couldn't be more excited to hear this series and see you move in this direction! I love the increased queer podcasts and representation over the last few years, but I often crave conversation about things beyond the queer qualia, venturing deeper into the history and philosophy that contribute to the queer experience. Talking about what it's like to be queer is amazing, and we need those stories, but it feels like there is so much more than what it's like to be queer-- history, politics, philosophy, psychology, sociology, oh my! Thanks for broadening and deepening the conversation!

These podcasts are always so great-- done with great intelligence, sense of rightful urgency, and taste. They deserve to have much wider circulation and audience than I'm seeing currently. And this new initiative is just spot on. I'm not even from the US and I watched while holding my breath. Of course, it's also the case that what happens in this autumn's elections in the US will also determine a lot of things globally. I care for your LPac agenda both out of solidarity and out of deep concern for where our global politics is heading with the phenomena we see in the US. Bring us more, MadeItOut! And hope you get views and likes in their hundred thousands and millions!

We cannot go back. As a lesbian that served under Don't Ask Don't Tell in the military (almost two decades total, more than half my time in service in in the closet) - the thought of going back eats at my soul. I fear for LGBT people, particularly the LGBT youth, and humanity as a whole should #45 be re-elected. We need more empathetic, authentic, REAL politicians like Becca Balint in office.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news yet I see something missing in both parties. Enlightenment. Using the words know thyself in terms of politics seems like an impossible to me when it is rooted in the very egoic mental constructs creating all the challenges in the first place to be solved. It’s like the investigator searching for the criminal when it’s the investigator him or herself who is the criminal. Got to have a deeper conversation if one wants to discuss Know Thyself. It’s in fact an Ancient Greek dictum that points inward not out on anything or anyone of the external. And honestly all I see is finger pointing on both sides. Some practice of spiritual principles right about now may be a good idea if anyone truly wants to turn this ship around. I love all my brothers, I may not like the behaviors coming out of both parties yet, at the deepest level we are ALL one. I recently changed to independent - after years of voting democrat and honestly don’t want to vote or be a part of any of this now as Truth at its core is missing. Let our pets /dogs run the country as they are closer to the Source than any of us. Respectively, and not one to follow the herd🙏🏻

If Trump and his goons go back to power, you are not going to have much space for enlightenment. You can push for change if the people in power believe in democracy and hear each other. If they believe in erasing opposition, then you are not gonna be able to even speak. Think about it.
