I love this message. And I love being reminded that we are all part of the rising generation.

I also had the thought yesterday to celebrate my Father in Heaven and how grateful I am for Him, and to know that I am a child of God. What a wonderful blessing.

I also went to the Layton temple dedication. One thing I noticed was that Elder Bednar kept on almost saying temple but changing it to “house of the Lord”. I think that’s something we should take note of. It’s not just a special religious building, it’s the house of God. I also enjoyed the Hossana shout, in 2020 when we did it during conference my kids were waving toilet paper around, this time they understood the meaning of the shout and we all enjoyed it so much and I felt so much power in it especially hearing a whole crowded stake center all say it at once. Thank you for sharing about it!

You are so welcome! That is beautiful. Yes, I loved that about Elder Bednar. I found it interesting that Sister Bernard referred to it several times as “the temple” in her testimony. Probably out of habbit. 😄

He made that very very clear when he came and dedicated the Bentonville Arkansas temple last fall. Yes, we should call them the house of the Lord

Lindsay, I also suffer from UTI’s. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I’ve found that taking a lot of cranberry caps, and/or drinking a lot of cranberry juice as well as lots of water, and cutting back on sugar really helps them clear up. It works best if started immediately after noticing it coming on. I hope this helps you recover quickly. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing your family's experience at the Temple dedication. I am going to share a clip from your video with my son in the rising generation. Also just want to share that I struggled with UTI's for years, but have kept them at bay by watching my sugar and starch intake as well as eliminating any drinks with added or natural sugars including fruit juices. 😉

I also got to attend the dedication from Fruit Heights. Your summary is spot on. Between Bednar's comments, 3rd Nephi and Ezra's Eagle I think we are going to see some political upheaval soon, but I'm not worried.

A combination of oregano oil and thyme work great for UTIs. This is a great natural antibiotic that works without destroying gut biome. Thanks for sharing about the Layton temple dedication!

I’m glad it worked out for you to be able to go to the dedication. It sounded amazing and I sure wish that they would let people who lived a little closer see the temple dedications like I saw the Ogden Temple dedication and I’ve never been on a session to the Ogden Temple, but it was such a powerful dedication, also I want to say that I think that expiration dates are definitely kind of like a window and pretty sure the medication was still OK to use. Wishing you the best.❤

I love hearing about the Lord's tender mercies in your life! 🥰 And I'm so excited you were able to get the headstone for your ancestors grave!! I'll have to go watch that documentary :) Thank you for sharing about the temple dedication. ❤️ My parents are in your temple district (they live in Kaysville) and I would have loved to go with them but it didn't work out. So I'm glad I got to hear about it from you :)

I second this about meds. I have a friend who is a pharmacist who told me not to throw away any expired medication’s because he said they are good well beyond their expiration date. Even upwards to 40 years! He gave an example of a pharmacist who had owned his own pharmacy and he passed away and they closed the doors and, everything stayed as it was until 40 years later. They went through and tested the medication’s and they were still good but had lost potency. So he said that if you need to take an old medication and you’re not seeing results, to just double the dose.

Lindsay! I’m so sorry about your bladder infection. Actually, that’s the very reason why I couldn’t go to the memorial ceremony. I’ve had a trial in my life of having this reoccurring UTI since December. It is happening a lot and I have had to rely on the Lord and try many things.

I spoke with a migraine headache. I had the same experience with it. I took Tylenol and IB profin hoping that I could make it through. I prayed for that and when I walked into the church it was completely gone through the whole time. When I left the pain came back for a while.

Get some grapefruit and cut it up. Put it all in a pitcher. Top it off with water. Drink the water. My mother in law gave me this remedy when I was first married. Hope this helps!
