Humm west countries have issues with drug abuse and other issues. I am from Asia where illegal drugs and the possession of weapons are completely not permitted. Also, in Asia, I grew up learning ethics throughout schools so I learned how to respect elderly and be humble. Sometimes western schools lack of teaching of ethics. There is no ethics course in schools and many of children go partying, sex, doing drugs and drinking alcohol. Even America teen dramas showing that a lot too. Also, many of West children grow up with a single mom or single dad or step parents. Most of my friends were growing up thinking that one of their parents completely abandoned them when they are a child. That's another issue too. In some countries, parents tend to stay in marriage because of their responsibility for the kids. I think all parents need to be responsible for their kids. Most people who have strong cultural norms and religious faith, they know that their children's belief will fade away with the freedom given in most west countries. Even among Muslim children, many of them don't follow the religious practices anymore once they grow up since they get influenced by western media. That's another thing too.
