I by and large agree with you i would add that while as a classical/traditional conservative that between reagenism and trumpism that while i like you find reagenism preferable a lot of it did mutate into what became trumpism like with the defecits dont matter attitude, the attitude that we can begin the world anew and lets shake things up for the sake of it radical change is good type thing.

I have thoughts about your video, which may or may not be mainstream/comfortable. They will be respectful though and God willing give you a little boost in the algorithm, if nothing else. :) -At this point in time, there is no candidate I will be voting for. Trump proved himself to be the slightly matured 1970's liberal that he is. I appreciated the border control, the appointments, and not dragging us into another war. Beyond there, the only thing that marks Trump as not a run of the mill GOPer is his personal popularity. Even the judicial appointments we could have gotten from generic suit GOP because he just pulled from a pre-selected list of elite. -I quite often hear cries of "irresponsibility!" on the point of abstaining from voting. From my view, however we live in conditions very close to late stage communism. Voting for either side really does not matter because of how tightly the primaries are controlled. It explains why the GOP and the Democrats change hands and nothing really happens. The best and most important change was the final end of the law that shall not be named. Other than that, we have democracy at the Federal level and not a republic. That means in reality a tightly controlled oligarchy where the plebs rubber stamp policy changes and feel like they are in charge. Any realistic view of governance in the last several decades cannot allow for the idea that what the populace wants, the populace is getting. -Mike Pence's unpopularity is not directly tied to Trump, in my opinion. I will not type the words in attempt to avoid some thought wrongity wrongs. However, what Trump complained about was obvious fact to the populace in general, including myself. I never ever remember delayed results, not in decades of living. Pence had a duty to stop the train and allow the system to sort it out. He did not. Thus he was not just a traitor to Trump, but to the entirety of the American people. I am sure he thought of the situation the way you described it. However, it was easily predicted that his popularity would never again reach beyond 5%. Maybe he thought he did the right thing. Who knows, but the populace in general will never be convinced of it and I think they have a right to that. -We are not the freest people in the world. Maybe once, but not now. This platform alone has a number of topics that I cannot type into the comments nor you can make a video about. The average mainstream Catholic does not bump into them very much. However, they are very real. We have long term political prisoners that mimic the last stages of communism. Again like late stage communism, certain ideas will get you fired or your unbanked or both, if they reach the mainstream. There are now other countries that are freer in terms of things you can say out loud, not being forced to deal with agendas in many areas of public life etc.
