Fantastic! I always loved Frida’s cover version but this is the first time I’ve heard Donna Summer’s 1981 original and this is even better. It’s more interesting musically, especially the eerie, otherworldly bagpipes, and to hear vocals by disco queen Donna Summer on a track like this.

Because she originated the song with her producers Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte in 1982. Unfortunately, the album 'I'm A Rainbow' was shelved along with this song. It was later licensed to Frida to sing. She did an amiable version but I find the depth of Donna's voice much more appealing.
