Toad the Wet Sprocket - Crazy Life live on Vibe, UPN, Los Angeles, CA 10/6/1997

Toad the Wet Sprocket took a short break from their fall 1997 tour when they stopped by to perform their latest radio release, "Crazy Life," on the show Vibe on UPN. This performance is noteworthy as it represents a rare television appearance where Todd Nichols and Glen Phillips swapped their normal roles (featuring Todd on lead vocals and Glen on lead guitar for this track). The band was rounded out by Bruce Winter, Jonas Marquez, and drum tech Magoo for this performance as well.

What it shows is that Toad had a wide audience and that people from all backgrounds appreciated their music. In addition, the song is about the genocide and continued subjugation of the Native Americans in this country so I'm sure the "audience" could relate, identify and empathize with that.
