I think he is one of the most brilliant actors. I still remember the scene in season 2 when upon arriving at Versailles he sees Claire and realises that Jamie is there also. The confrontation between the two.. his face... speaks a million words.. this is pure heart, talent, and genius. Gives me goosebumps every time.

This is a rather silly interview. There are so many interesting questions to ask an actor as Tobias. I think he's at a higher performance level as Sam, although Sam has more charisma. Franks part is better ellaborated in the series than in the books, and that is mostly thanks to Tobias; What he does with his face, It can change in a second to a whole different expression. We all feel for Claires and Jamies loss, but I think Frank also looses the woman he loves, even if see lives close to him.

Funny because I missed Sam's charisma, he's beautiful but felt very shallow to me as far as depth/range of emotion went. Also I never read the books, but is Jamie really THAT bland in them? The man felt empty, and as if he needed her to steer him... not where I would have went with it. Gorgeous man though.

Can we please stop asking questions like these? You've given brilliantly complex and nuanced portrayals of extremely complicated characters and done so in such an honest and vulnerable way... did you feel insecure about your body at all? Do some extra pushups? Did holding a stranger's baby for a minute make you feel deeply personal and private things that we can now exploit and maybe even manage to make you feel regret about? Let's talk to actors and actresses about their work, not their bodies, insecurities or most private thoughts on major life decisions. Also, Wentworth Prison called about that nudity remark... so did Rome, come to think of it. 🤭

From his body language I've always felt that he's not very comfortable with this particular part of his career. I wonder if he's on the shy side. He always handles these interviews with grace though. This interviewer is especially idiotic. I'll smack her for you Tobias!
