Yk you can just turn people around so that you can combo their back, right? Or you can high/low mix them. Or you can gut punch them and then step around to their back and keep a combo going. Slightly similar philosophy to a stamina break. Sure, combos don’t go on to the same length as xv2 and they aren’t supposed to. It’s meant to be a back and forth clash instead of a battle of who gets a stamina break and one combos the enemy first. Thats why there’s so many defensive mechanics in the game it stops you from getting caught once and exploding, unlike in Xv2 where all you have is an evasive and your stamina is gone all you can do is pray your opponent drops or isn’t that good at comboing.

How are you going go turn them around if they mash before you can reach that part of your string ? Some characters don't have a first square into triangle kick that turns them around. No.. no it isn’t. XV2 is somehow comparable dragon ball breaks with CACS having ssj4 and XV2 doesn’t. Ontop of, sparking zero is inherently better because xenoverse 2 just has cheese cheese cheese combos. Even so, xenoverse does the exact same thing with perfect blocking spam and what not. If you’re not good at sparking zero that’s on you, but stay humble in which one is better

As much as I hate to say it, in Xenoverse 2 some of the cheese actually takes some modicum of skill to apply to actual fights. In Sparking Zero if you have afterimage strike or a move that takes you instantly into sparking you'll mostly be good 😂

I agree with you yes xeno has better combos than sparking, however it wouldn't really be fair to compare sparking to Xenoverse, since Xenoverse is more focused around that customization of our characters and mentors. We could compare sparking to something like Kakarot or FighterZ but we cant really compare it to something like Xenoverse It's mainly why the discussion between xeno v jump force was big back then, because those two games both have that customization that Sparking or FighterZ or Kakarot lacks

@@blcktale bro FighterZ is traditional fighting game and sparking zero is arena fighting type. Also xeno is great in character customization,story, PQ , raid boss and most important of all its mods. Other than that PvP is dogshit in xeno 2 thanks to its netcode and game machanics. I really hate the stamina system in xeno 2, its not even close to DBZ .

Xenoverse 2’s combat has the kind of “jank” that when understood and mastered is no longer jank at all, sort of like AC Unity or any Souls like. Fight’s can look blocky and stiff or they can look fluid and action stuffed asf, it can look like an anime fight playing in real time.

@@qdakid7776 Mk1 is completely ass compared to Sparking Zero. It’s not close at all. Plus I love over powered characters so the rest of you could keep that weak and slow shit while the OGs play games that are actually fun like Tenkaichi/Sparking Zero. The thing is everyone is broken and OP so it’s a matter of who destroys who first. SZ isn’t chess and it never was. Secondly I’m a massive Mk fan but Mk1 itself is slow, every character was nerfed to hell, no one has good mix ups, and extended combos don’t have variety in their moveset. The variety comes from the kameos which is lame to me because I prefer a complete character AND a kameo. Not an incomplete character so I can complete them WITH a kameo. The only thing saving Mk1 is Ghostface and Noob Saibot because the idea of multiple fighters best suits them specifically. Sparking Zero gives you complete characters you can put on TEAMS and for the most part everyone is viable as hell right now but you can’t make unique teams because the point system won’t allow certain characters to be paired due to everyone crying it’s too OP. Sparking Zero doesn’t suck you’re just playing with the wrong mind frame for it. It’s not a regular fighting game, it’s a power fantasy fighting game. Destroy a planet and shut up

I see where your coming from..maybe i like sparking zero mostly because its fresh, looks awesome and nostalgic. I will not deny the combo potential from sparking is lackluster compared to xenoverse. All i could say balanced wise sparking is better, but at the same time there are constant meta users or ppl use characters that activate sparking. Xeno has alot of unbalanced stuff but there is a counter for it ..mods excluded. There are endless ideas for combos that can be fleshed out like how you and jabyt etc... Respectfully pvp wise i like sparking better but you made interesting points though and showcased well. I believe if xenoverse actually cared about netcode, eliminating modders like how they took out raid move users, advanced the ai earlier as well as fix certain things like grinding easier it would change many views. Keep up the good work man.

Even so I still say supporting Sparking Zero *over* Xenoverse 2 is important. For me it's ***purely*** because I want Xenoverse 3 sooner rather than later. Even if Xenoverse 2 has a lot more dynamic combos and the obviously universal appeal of CaC and putting your own OC into Dragon Ball. It don't change the fact that the game is still: -Made on severely outdated hardware (same engine as Street Fighter 4 which was in the LATE 2000'S) - always had a poor art direction with the more plastic-y action figure look of the characters. - Graphically outclassed even by mobile games at this point. - the worst connection and netcode of ANY online game I've yet played, party or otherwise. - And still lacking a TON of general QoL and Creative Options that came standard even with FAR worse Dragon Ball CaC Games. Things *like* custom combo strings and aura's and transformation hairstyles. That even though we know *can* be done in the game even as it is now as proven by mods and such, makes it even more inexcusable that it's not in the official games as it is right now. All of these are things that a Xenoverse 3 could very ***very*** easily fix. And that's why I feel like as many people jumping ship to Sparking Zero as possible is a good thing. Since if people keep spending tons and tons of money on now *overcharged* DLC they have no reason to ever stop. But I genuinely hope they do someday. I want the Xenoverse series to ACTUALLY enter a new age along with all the other Dragon Ball Games that are/have arriving/arrived. Sparking Zero. Kakarot getting another revamp update. Rumors are starting to get louder of FighterZ 2 coming. I want Xenoverse to *actually* be part of this new wave incoming. And not just cause "oh hey look it's Xenoverse 2, man that game's still going? Damn."

@@tobiramatv6918 I've played xenoverse 2 for years, theres only three stages to any "skill" it has. 1. Noob, doesn't know what they're doing 2. Advanced, knows what they're doing 3. Expert, knows every tech there is and sweats on the game constantly. The skill ceiling is close enough to the floor it looks like a normal house, there isn't much skill to xenoverse, at least for sparking you have to predict what your opponent will do, once the battle starts in xenoverse (and you're competent) you already know what to do for the rest of the match, stop glazing xenoverse, the only reason people played it was because it was the only dragon ball game that was still getting updates and had a big selection of characters and moves, sparking just filled that gap with majority of it being improvements, xenoverse is done chief Mb for the yap session

Sparking zero has better special moves. In game transformation are waaaaaay better plus you can transform into blue with Goku instead of it being a separate character like xenoverse. Combos are okay in xenoverse if you can excuse them. Overall two different style of games.
