Conceived the idea of a Toby Keith/ Ford Truck brand alliance and creative directed this campaign.This is Toby's 1st Ford initiative, "I'm a Ford Truck Man" and making of video campaign.

Toby Keith's "Ford Truck Man" campaign first aired on October 7, 2002, during ABC's Monday Night Football (Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears). The campaign was created by J. Walter Thompson, Detroit. The 30-second spot shows Keith singing the praises of Ford Trucks, and showing him in tough working activities, such as working on the farm, in a factory with welders, in a city rooftop, and performing in a recording studio. A fully integrated dealer advertising campaign started in mid-October, where seven other spots are used by Ford dealers.

I wonder how "Look Again" (his other song written for Ford) came to be? Did he sit with his guitar at his house, and that just popped out, as well? I can imagine so.

Look Again was Ford's theme line at the time so we worked with Toby to create a song using Look Again! And he did a great job!

Cameo appearance: At 1:41 is Michael Salomon, who's directed almost all of Toby's music videos since 1997, as well as his Ford commercials
