Which in-game aim training courses do you like for mid range practice? I have found many (and spent a lot of time) for close range shotgun and longer range DMR/AR/sniper practice, but would like to find better ones for mid range (and to stay out of range of the freakin hades chains).

Be cool to see how you intercept the boss car convoy when it spawns away from it’s POI. I like the updated Shinobi Training Grounds ❤the hilly terrain is where I’ve been practicing using cover, nitro fists, & improving my aim/battle mechanics in general. Always use TobyWanShinobi as content creator in the shop when I buy stuff for my team & I (prolly spending too much on skins/emotes ag tho)

Currently doom gloves are annoying, but I just shoot the captain america shield out of the air(can be done have saved replay footage). If you have a hover jet I juice up, Shockwave and shoot from above them.

@@janaepowell9253 what you are saying is true in the sense yes anyone can achieve any rank if they play enough, but does the AVERAGE fortnite player have enough time to get those ranks NOPE. thats why its averages. MOST players are bronze, silver, and gold, alot plat, and 10% are diamond.. elite 7 percent.. 1p ercent for unreal. those are the outliers not the averages.

Yeah the closer you are to the person you are in a shotgun fight the easier the enemy can hit u because the closer u r to the person the more u take up there screen and is essentially a bigger target 🎯

I feel like everyone wants to third party a shotgun fight because they know you took some damage most likely. A mid range ar fight you might not have been hit so some players will think twice about just jumping on you after the fight ends.

Make a video playing on high ping. I see your ping is 10. I play on 190 ping to 220 ping. I can definitely say your strategy is ideal but if you play on high ping you will see how your shots don't register. Those that play with ping higher than 160 like this comment coz we know the struggles 😭

I play with people in the US, ME & EU. We constantly swap servers my ping is usually between 120-220 it really isn’t that important in ZB. We only lost 2 games in 7 and came #2 in the ones we lost.

So? Yeah, your shots don't register, but the game is about shooting, you can't avoid it if you want to win, so you will miss those shots anyways. His strategy of damaging people to get a health advantage before a close fight is a tip that would help people with high ping, because that would mean you'd have to hit less shots in order to stay alive.

Can you imagine when us 200 ping, massive lag players get a FN server in our region? God mode activate. 😂 People say it doesn’t matter in Zero Build, it most definitely does. Like taking damage after you’re behind cover or shockwaveing and nothing happens but your inventory is minus one shock. It’s the Wild West down South. Toby can’t make a video on 200 ping because he hasn’t experienced it. No shade on Toby his videos have improved my game by 200% ✌️

As I said if you don't play with a ping higher than 160 the comment doesn't apply to you. No shade on Toby as well but definitely if he plays on 200 ping he won't be as good as he is. Plenty of times I've died behind cover and also get sniped behind cover. I literally see bullets coming through trees and hitting me even thou I am well advance behind cover. But yeah if we get low ping servers I can guarantee you players on 160 ping and higher will trash low ping users.

Unfortunately no. But I will say, learning is rarely fun. It usually requires some pain. Playing against better players makes you better. You have to adapt to survive and you can learn / study what they are using against you and do it yourself. You will improve 10x faster playing against people better than you than playing against people worse or at the same skill as you. This is how I got good at Fortnite as well. Playing Coney Crossroads deathmatch - it was full of sweats and I was always getting beat up, but I grinded it and got sooo much better quickly.

Just curious, how long did it take for your wife to get decent at Zero Builds on a controller. I'm asking because we love FN (mostly BR not ZB since my son doesn't like ZB much) with my son but my wife has never played any video game on any device (I don't think even her iPhone has any games on it). I feel tempted to lure her in at some point but I imagine it will be a long and bumpy road, haha. Envy you. I know when baby Ryu grows up, you're going to be a killer team.

2:15 no normal player lands on the floor of GRIM for a grey shotty and calls it "low risk" 🤣 you're competing with people who get the high altitude mythics before U even land and chances are there is better loot on the floor than the grey gatekeeper. This only works if you're a pro and get lucky lol even poor Yuki bear goes down. Not sure about this advice for low-mid skill players.

I stand by this advice 100% - you have a shotgun before anyone in your local CORNER opens a chest - meaning you can shotgun people going for the loot in your corner. I land corner because it's much safer than the chaotic upper chests - you have 2 guaranteed chests (1 god chest), sometimes 3 in that room and 5 slurp barrels. A grey gatekeeper is incredibly effective when everyone has 150hp and basically secures you that room for sure.

I’m controller player and my aim assist is totally off my shots improved drastically without aim assist, now I do allot of aim training everyday and utilize cover like you have taught us Toby I really think If you play without aim assist and aim train you will get allot better without it just my opinion 😀
