I feel like the one big thing missing from this video is a discussion of Fists vs. Cars. Is it an effective weapon against cars? Do the Uppercut, Ground Pound, and Dash punch all work? How much damage do they do against them? Is it worth getting the car to blow up in your face?

I was going to include it, but it would make the video run toward 30 mins. Only worth doing the uppercut on the player's door because you can deal 60 damage to the player through the car. Also great to uppercut cars off high ground and into storm, etc. Covered that in my last car combat video.

This is why the combat shotgun is useful. Taking those 50/50s especially if you dont have fists isn't a good idead 😂. If you don't have fists, keeping the enemy with fists at bay is the goal.

I found stepping to the right or left of the person when you see the animation starting of the fists you have major advantage of shooting them.... I do it all the time....

I recently got a paddled controller so that I can jump and aim at the same time. So far all the paddle does is switch my brain off so that when I jump my trigger finger forgets it's a finger and won't do anything. Then I die.

Thank you for all the content you have been making. Over this past week, I've been watching and practicing some of the things you really try and teach players like finding an advantage in fights. This video also help me out big time with the fist hitbox. I finally got my first solo win and I was able to be pretty calm because a lot of the advice you've been giving for free in your videos. I've only played 67 solo matches since I have been playing the game which I took a break for a few years from when it first was out. Now I play with my friends and have been wanting to get better. Your guides and content have been perfect for that. Thanks for all you do for the community of new players or just those wanting to get better like me. The uppercut can be very effective in breaking up groups in group play. If theyre distracted (shooting at a friend or doing something they shouldnt be doing). I have kidnapped people via the uppercut for a quick kill in a team fight. It is also okay in trying to get someone away from you.

Very helpful video! I can't believe I never realized that you need to aim a little to the right in order to hit properly. I also didn't know about the 15/8-meter range issues. Incredible! Honestly, though, I know the fists are OP, but I hope they last a while before being vaulted because they're so fun (like almost everything else this season)! Even when I die, I'm like, "Okay, that happened," instead of being mad, since I know I'd do the same thing.

My favorite combo with the fists is to slam from above, then immediately uppercut, which does 130 dmg combined. Then swap to a shotgun or burst and finish them.

Cool video. I just learn on fly. A strategy i take is wen bitting me is i walk directly backwards n light them up. Yet i take damage but i win more fights then i lose unless i dont see them coming. Not saying this is right way to go. But ive gotten alot of kills this way

I think possibly the jump and dash straight up gives you slightly more height because of the height gain from the jump. The extra distance to me seems comparable to the height you can jump. Still, I would expect the uppercut to give more height, not equal or lesser. But I do think they're equal, just the jump gives you a higher starting height.

Lil tip, I uncovered myself! If you're in a very closed place such as the upgrade bunkers,you can spam the uppercut attack and often waste anyone in close range.

Hey Toby I mix nitro fist with flowberry and shockwave to cover to cover huge distances. I can take easy 4 people by surprise as long as I keep 2 charges. But literally, if I can see shooting on the screen I can reach them. I than keep a burst SMG in case of need. But my loadout would look like. Smg-fists-portabunker-shovkwaves-flowberry.

Even just flowberry and fists to increase the distance than can be covered just with fists. The massive advantage to fly trough the map it's increased drastically but the fact that flowberry will give you that nice anti-gravity effect and follow by a shockwave and a couple of fist. The noise of the fist will be farder and the altitude will allow you to just slide/anti-gravity from the air and than slam the completely unaware opponent. Remember if you are flying there is not steps, and after the Shockwave/berry combo throw you in the air you might not even need to use the flowers and make noise. You would just slam and start hitting. If you lucky you would still have all of your changes and can use uppercut to reposition or escape. In case of cars or been caught in a fight with too many people I use portabunker to take few second(for the fists)and have a cover.

does the mid-air fist attack when you're out of charges have a smaller range? I had an issue where I was trying to switch to my shotgun while jumping and it wasn't switching, but I was punching instead, and the punch wasn't connecting even though the enemy was less than 5m away.

So it wasn't skill issue ive been reviewing my replays wondering why I missed using fist's cause I was aiming right in the middle of the crosshair when in reality it should be in the left a bit. even when escaping since carmagedon ive hit walls more times rather than getting right inside the windows using this fist so ive opt back to shock nades this is a very useful guide

Green skull dashes. As soon as you get boogied, START dashing with them. Without the dashes, you can stay close to your car (if you got boogied out the car), in ZB they have to break your overshield for the boogie to cancel (or wait the 5 seconds). As soon as your overshield breaks hop back in the car ASAP. General rule is to have your fists equipped before you get in the car, this is in case if you get boogied and your car rolls too far away from you to hop back in. Lets say none of those scenarios occurred and you got boogied in the open, hug your enemy so they are forced to boogie theirselves. If in cover, breqk the line of sight. Hope these tips help

Uppercut damage on ceilings is very low and doesn't break them unless you hit like 3 times. Yes I use custom diagonals.

You cant break camera agains good players, they will hit you hard even if youre 5km underground, so just maximize your damage and try to kill them first

Also people have been using the fists to get above and switching to guns. Apparently no fall damage- which is ridiculous. It would be better if they had to land with them on to not take fall damage. If they take them off, splat.
