Great training map! One question: Whats you "par" score for the flick shot training if you are a controller player? 34 seems impossible to me...

Wise man. Listen and learn. I’ve learned alot from you coming from the video game destiny 2 where I am in the goat category for console to a Fortnite complete noob. You are my go to for learning the game. I’m 100 hours into the game but I used to get super bad anxiety in end game like heart rate that could be around 180 I bet lol. The more you play the better you get it’s that simple. Heck there is probably a construction worker out there that could be a top 100 player in the world but he is doing construction lol. basically the more time you put into the game the better you will be. I always watch my replays when I die in between matches. I take deep slow breaths in end game and try to relax. Took me a month to dial in a sensitivity that’s a whole different subject. Your anxiety videos helped a lot of us. My weakness is up close aim. So I am learning to always have a advantage health wise before I push. Aka do some ar damage then push when I know I can afford some missed shots up close if I encounter a pc player it helps. The music in your map is like custom made? I heard the rapper call out your name in it. Bad ass music man. Keep it up champ.

First off, excellent video! I find that endgame I’m still having quite a bit of panic and elevated heart rate. The times I do not have this is when I actually pay attention and follow your advice. Breaking off from a fight to gain advantage and not be 50-50 has been something I’ve really been working on lately. Thanks again!

I absolutely LOVE this! Video games often get a bad rap, especially from older generations who may not see the valuable life lessons they can teach. Competitive games like Fortnite offer incredible opportunities to develop skills that parallel real-life success. Growing up, I learned so much from playing sports, and those lessons translate directly to esports-minus the need for supplemental exercise. It's amazing how these games can foster discipline, strategy, and teamwork!

Fantastic stuff all around. This is clearly NOT your average Fortnite channel. I've played Fortnite basically since it came out, but your videos have given me much more respect for zero-build players given your truly wise observations which can often be extended both to build mode and many areas of life (as is the thesis of this video). Also, as a teacher, I have always preached the incredible value of "learning to learn" like you mentioned. I appreciate you helping to spread the importance of that concept to younger generations like this (I'm a veritable dinosaur compared to most "casual-competitive" players).

I record every game I play just in case I get a GG. AND I know that I can go back and look at HOW I was unalived each time. Once I realized this was a tool for my learning, my outbursts upon being unalived are more muted. I sort of stop short of pounding on the keyboard or throwing the mouse across the room, bc I know I can play it back and see where the mistakes were made. Probably by me, I am under no allusion bc I am 63, puff, and play after work when I am already kind of tired. And I have only been playing for 1 year so far.

Love it! I take the same approach when trying to become better at League of Legends. Sadly, when I begins to discuss things to practice, declaring my goals for the match, take ownership, and break out the spreadsheets/maps to show to my teammates, it becomes clear they're not as excited as I am to analyze our gameplay. lol Anyone else encounter this a lot? lol Me: "Ah shoot, sorry we died there because I should have disengaged this fight and immediately turned to assist with yours to focus fire. We could of probably won that had I done that." Teammates: "No no its not your fault don't worry about it. We all makes mistakes, its really no big deal we just play for fun its okay, really!"

Great comments Shinobi Sensei “Hai”. Because of your previous video I learned why I kept loosing to the spammable items, Proximity. I have also decided on carrying Clingers. If there is zero chance to get away from the sword, Bushido demands a Kamikaze attack. Toss all 4 at your feet and try to get out in time or not. Maybe the enemy will learn about Proximity.😊 Also you forgot the most common error that plagues us all “ Reloading “

I thought of keeping shockwaves handy for escaping the blade, have you tried that? I haven't had the chance yet.
@lordgrimoz60852 күн бұрын
@@MarksGamePlayPage the shockwaves are to get out of the blast zone😉😂. But yes shock to get away from close attacks and yes it works. However most sword users have either them or void mask. So the clingers are the last line if death is unavoidable.

my main issue is just not knowing what to do in a fight, i can start off with a plan and start great but those split second decisions i really question myself and end up dying before i decide, i’ve avoided by ego the best i can and calmed down beforehand but applying what i’ve learnt in videos to the game can be challenging i was wondering if you had any tips or videos out there tackling this
@D_S-92 күн бұрын
In a different video he talks about making any decision rather than delay and analysis of the choices. Making the wrong decision will end up better than making no decision so just let your instincts take control. When you watch your playback you can see what bad decisions you made and you can practice those specific aspects until your instincts give you a better option without delaying or thinking about it in game. Honestly the biggest mistakes most people make are *not* making a decision one way or the other and just being a sitting duck while they think or missing out on an appropriate time to follow up (or tactical retreat) because they are too busy considering which is best. In the moment just do, in the reflection phase (playback) you can complete your analysis.

Fortnite has taught me its better to be sneaky than meet the threat front on. If a player is better than me I run off to the nearest town, then creep around as 9 out of 10 times they will run around so I know exactly where they are but they have no clue where I am. Which always ends in their death and I get all their good collections. Last season I got 15 victories, this season 14 just cause I stop rushing in thinking I can win every fight. The community teaches you really quickly ain't going to happen. Thanks everyone. Whatever those purple balls that make you fly through the air can't be underestimated

I feel like a lot of people, including me, want to be good at the game without actually practicing, but that's just not how things work. You need to take the time to work on your craft. People think it's "cringy" or "tryhard" to say, actually write things down on a piece of paper or watch your own replays, but that's literally how you get better at things in general. If you want something, go out and work towards it.

I’m also started playing Fortnite in c4s1 but I’m not nearly as good as Shinobi😂 also about 1100 hours in the game (about 30% of this time was spent in non-tactical Creative maps and regimes like Festival). I guess I’m just stuck in my current skill level. I’m also on ps5 with all these unnecessary shaders, ray-tracing and 60fps 👍😅

@IIISofiaIII only stuck when you decide you are. A lot of times a plateau is just a mindset issue and requires a new perspective to break through it.

Currently am grinding your mastery map, which is just amazing by the way!! If u could cover a point on gun switching on any of ur future videos that would be great.
@TobyWanShinobi2 күн бұрын
If you want to master gun swapping, go into Shinobi Mastery Map turn off the timers and go to the "surrounded position" scenario and play that for an hour straight practicing hitting a mammoth shot, swapping to a shotgun, then finishing with SMG... and vice versa, etc. Just always be swapping weapons after shooting.

Everyone can learn from these advices! Other content creators, streamers as well. And they will not put themselves into the hot water, like a certain "family friendly" streamer did, because he has a clearly obvious, but undiscovered and uncontrolled Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). I hope that streamer, who call himself "the king", will get HELP from a mental hygiene specialist and NOT roasting and harassment! Sadly a lot of smaller KZbinr want to exploit this drama and do not care about the person and themselves as well. Sadly they want "clicks" to their videos and they lost their humanity in the process. I hope everyone realize sooner or later, that is better to help each other, than exploiting other people for our gains.
