Today's Repair: La Spaziale Mini Vivaldi 2

Today I finished a repair on the Vivaldi 2, this is a nice machine and considered a classic.

The gauge is not stuck it just stops at last pressure, then resets when pulling another shot. Those wood panels are nice!

You can't always trust the retailers since they have a vested interest. Thanks for mentioning the portafilter size since I'm sure a lot of people question the size since it's not a 58mm.

I had bought that machine and had to return it. I was unlucky with my specific unit but there was a “metallic “ taste from the machine that I couldn’t get rid of. I bought a Breville Dual Boiler instead. I like it but I prefered the look and the ergonomics of the Vivaldi.

Hi I have the same machine but the steam wand suddenly stopped blowing. I have no idea where to look and how to fix. Could you help me to diagnose please

It can be a high-limit thermostat, programming, or a bad element. Hard to tell without looking at it

can you explain how the stainless steel 3 way valve is supposed to sit? my machine is leaking from there. i thought maybe the 4 screws were not tight enough, but they are. I would like to know where I can get a extra green drop shape gasket also, but I think it is leaking because its hard to tell which way it is installed, and I have it on the wrong way. Reply

I can't remember but the orientation is important, you can call the tech department of Clive Coffee or Chris Coffee and see if they can guide you through the process.

I figured it out. There is a dot on the flange and that has to point up, and in my newer valve thats all stanless including the flange, it gets the pointy part of the DROP shaped gasket to point to the user.Thank you regardless!!@@ozespresso

Hi! I really need help. I just bought this exact machine, but no water is coming out of the grouphead. At one point, I got water to drip out, but thats it. Now its completely dry, theres no water flowing through the tubes. My guess is maybe the solenoid valves are closed, and the water that came out is the residue past the solenoid valve. I dont know what to do, please help me😭🙇🏻‍♀️

Hard to tell without testing it in person. Try to make sure the water tank is pushed all the way in

I just bought one of these. I've wanted one for years. The portafilter has a really cheap plastic handle on it. Is there a way to take the portafilter apart so that I can turn a nice wooden handle for it? Thanks!

This is a great machine, one of my favorite. If I am not mistaken, there is a "chrome" cap at the end that might come off or you can try and turn it counterclockwise, depending on the design. Hope this helps -Y
