It’s a breath of fresh air listening to someone smart enough to research both side before forming an opinion. Way way way too many Americans refuse to glean information from Fox, cnn, Algesera, internet, Democrats, republicans etc… even my buddies at work refuse to watch or listen to the other side . Blindly forming an opinion

About Haiti: Barbecue got his name because his mom used to have a Barbecue Restaurant in the neighborhood he grew up in. He is a former cop who got screwed over when he was sent on a mission and the police abandoned him and his team mid mission. This is his beginnings as a gang leader. I know because I live in Haiti.

From my first LIC mission, 1981, in Central America, nation-building operations to stabilize the hardest hit nations to drug interdiction operations in South America, the USA's actions and policies defied logic to its operators. The final straw for me? I was told my battalion was being sent into Haiti as part of an unarmed military force while criminal gangs were hacking children to death. I retired rather than "soldier through" the BS any longer. Thank you for hosting Cappy, Casey in AZ

US troops who served in El Salvador as trainers are now awarded the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for service in El Salvador from 1 January1981 to1 February 1992. 22 US troops were killed or assainated in El Salvador from natural causes, accidents, combat operations and assassinated.. 4 American nuns were raped and murdered by US trained, Salvadoran death squad. A Catholic Bishop was murdered during the same atrocity of the nuns.

Detailing the results of any failed policy and then doing the "both sides have problems" political refrain is specious thinking. Bad policies clearly comes from bad ideas. Lotsa people predict these failures with first-principles thinking. Without that, we're constantly just reacting to bad news rather than being proactive.

@16:10 Cappy says he believes LEGAL immigration is drawing the "best and the brightest" to the USA. Emphasis on LEGAL!!, which implies vetted immigration! He's absolutely correct in this. Although chain migration needs some serious "tweaking". The USA needs doctors, nurses, engineers, computer programmers, quantum computer designers, Artificial Intelligence Developers and entrepreneurs from WHEREVER it can get them. Hopefully those citizens from other counties will want to come the USA and still see the USA as a country of opportunity and not a country being invaded by illegal aliens, too many of which are illiterates, drug traffickers, human traffickers, criminals, murderers and terrorists.
