For some reason, I have found that while most women are OK with a pretty/beautiful woman around and many want a pretty girl as their friend, those who are middle-aged but have been always average looking tend to be bitter with pretty women and look down on them. And also some teenage-early 20s girls who feel threatened and insecure about themselves, so they start bullying those as pretty or prettier than them.
