When you tell the truth, you sometimes hurt people. Susan Dey was very upset and He did apologized. However, she never spoke to him again. He just wanted to be honest. David, you did the right thing. Thanks for entertaining us and letting the world see your talent. RIP.

He lost the perspective from his own identity and his TV role.

I always saw David Cassidy acting the role of the fictitious Keith Partridge, considering he was an actor! Unfortunately, you're correct, he did lose perspective between real and imaginary. That tends to occur when a person isn't well adjusted or grounded and possibly suffering from emotional/psychological problems - as was the case with David Cassidy.

You wrote a book to make money, and in the process hurt Susan Deys feelings and betrayed her. Not a gentleman, the way I see it.

He didn't see Susan as a peer friend etc etc...? So it was easy to just write candidly ?

@@paulscott6998 I think he was mire complex than ppl can fathom.snd, he was his own...led zeppelin, you know? However he operated, it definitely was apparently- outside of the norm. I say it was no good, also, as it lead to his alcoholism? Still ..underneath what fame had wrought ..what a positive, lively, talented, kind soul. Pray for him.

@@lindaclark9925 I don’t really think he was paid appropriately. They took advantage of him and made all the money. Cassidy was definitely talented and had the charisma and looks. His father was homosexual, but married women. Lots of things led to David Cassidy falling apart. Dysfunctional upbringing and being exploited by almost everyone. This is why it’s so important to stay grounded and read the Bible. Have a relationship with Jesus Christ.

@@paulscott6998 I agree. David has an exuberance that seemed God created, I must say; he had to have stayed close to the source to correctly navigate fame and fortune, though . I pray he called on the Lord in his final days!
