I love watching Jason teaching. He's laid back so it's not so screaming and loud, but he's very precise in what needs to be done and doesn't mix words. It was really interesting watching.

At 13:57, in the back, I think that Aron was teaching Luke the same trick. You guys could probably make a new series in which 2 teachers see who can help their student to get the trick first or consistently. That could help us to see the different styles and would be really fun to watch for sure.

Practicing the back 50's and 5-0 are a good help.Honestly most of the wax probably gets scraped off if your not constantly waxing it,I wouldn't rely too much on the wax,and just know how to lock in and slide,I cant do back smiths though I should learn um.backside anything is so scary. I like Fetty's approach though..also speed helps a lot with grinds but makes it more scary

Ive wanted to start skating for about 3 years but i never really got around to it, so this spring im gonna try my best to get a board and start skating. i knew close to nothing about skateboarding until i found your channel, and ive learned so much already, so i cant thank you enough. you probably wont see this but by some chance you do, thank you so much. i love you guys, and keep on doing what you love. ps. fetty your tattoos are sick, sah dude

Keep the vids coming and don't stop being who you guys are! I tell everyone how awesome it is watching the videos and seeing how cool you guys are to little kids just starting or even people my age/older just learning and how much you guys hype them up and make them feel awesome when they land a trick. Front heel needs to be up on the board! 90% of the fails the front heal is hanging over and catches. Heel touch is like slamming on the breaks. Even when Nigel landed it slow mo showed his front heel hanging off board.

Kelly is right with the texting thing on the camera. I don't think that you should be on the phone while making a video. But because Lance cut the part before Nigel's reaction. it felt naturally. By that I mean it looks like Nigel was like walking around and "oh you're learning backside smith grind? I suck at this one. let me join" meanwhile Kelly is making fun of his texting in front the camera then Nigel "I just went by, let me finish texting this girl and I'm 100% here." :D .. I'm weird, I know..

Anyone have any good suggestions for a beginner-but-not-walmart-teir skateboard? I got a crappy Kryptonics Walmart board to give it a try and it seems fun, but the board was definitely low quality. Any suggestions for one that preferably don't cost >~$70? Preferably a board in the style that Braille tends to skate, I've never been a real big fan of longboards or whatever (I don't really know most of the names) Btw I have big feet and I'm almost 6 foot if that changes anything

Anyone stuck on backside 180s?
@williamrussell8567 жыл бұрын
Jakey Edit nope not anymore it's all in how to turn your head.
@697_7 жыл бұрын
I had a problem with backside 180. The board would often go away from me I later realized that I was leaning back to far and pushing the board away from me. It is all about your head position as above said you will need to work on that make sure you leaning over your board sort of pushing forward as you ollie to keep the board underneath you. Hope this helps. Learn that and 360 is almost the same just need more air and power in the spin. What might also help is starting out with 90 degree bs ollie and work your way up to 180+ then try doing it while moving.
@pankillheure7 жыл бұрын
I always thought FS 180s were more difficult than BS i don't know why. It just make more sense for me to turn backside. Don't know if anyone got his but I had so many struggles to get FS but BS i learned it like it was really natural. In fact I didn't really learned it I just get this trick done the time I tried too. But FS I had so many struggle!!!
@mamonsin7 жыл бұрын
Think about jumping a big gap. You don't wanna land backwards so you prepare your whole body to land facing a switch position. Remember to not put all your balance in your front foot because you will land leaning back. I think it's also one of those tricks that you just gotta commit. Back 180s are scary at beginner level. Good luck!

Question from a non-skateboarder. What's the difference between the nose and the tail? I've become a big fan of watching Braille Skateboarding videos, but both ends of the board look exactly the same to me for street boards like you use. On something like a longboard, crusier, penny board, or a really old fashioned board, the nose and tail are more distinct. On the kind you skate, it seems like it would work exactly the same no matter which way around it was facing.
@Meccarox7 жыл бұрын
MysticJhn Typically the tail is slightly narrower/smaller than the nose. It's hard to tell but I think it's visible if you see a board in real life
@MysticJhn7 жыл бұрын
Maybe, but because of watching Braille, I have looked for boards on Amazon (I doubt I'd actually buy one, but I looked) and they all seem perfectly symmetrical, front to back.
